Si hay un canal que quiero que ¡Corran a verlo! Es el canal HISTORIA PARA PANAS.
Yo no soy de pódcast, me fastidian y aburren sin un sentido, pero Dorian Márquez y Miguel Rodríguez me tienen enganchada con su forma de contar lo que pasó hace 300 años en nuestra tierra. Para explicar mis razones de recomendarlos, acá se las enumero:
😎 La razón principal es que una de mis materias favoritas es la historia. Conocer de dónde venimos, lo que pasó realmente o descubrir qué las cosas no fueron tal como la contaron, de verdad que me apasiona.
Entonces, el pódcast es precisamente de historia de Venezuela y La Gran Colombia en general. Una de las cosas que me permite creerles, es que yo estuve en Colombia y muchas de las cosas que dicen, se parecen a lo que dicen allá. Otro dato es que yo soy de la zona donde ellos cuentan la historia, ¡Y ES CIERTO! Tenemos esas estatuas, los municipios o colegios tienen esos nombres de personajes que existieron en todo lo que tiene que ver con la lucha por nuestra independencia ¡ME ENCANTA! 💯.
There's a channel I want you to check out! It's called HISTORIA PARA PANAS. I'm not usually into podcasts; I find them annoying and pointlessly boring, but Dorian Márquez and Miguel Rodríguez have me hooked with their way of recounting what happened 300 years ago in our country. Here are my reasons for recommending them:
😎 The main reason is that one of my favorite subjects is history. I'm really passionate about learning where we come from, what really happened, or discovering that things weren't quite as they were told. So, the podcast is precisely about the history of Venezuela and Gran Colombia in general. One of the things that makes me believe them is that I was in Colombia and many of the things they say are similar to what they say there. Another fact is that I am from the area where they tell the story, AND IT'S TRUE! We have those statues, the municipalities and schools are named after characters who existed in everything related to the struggle for our independence. I LOVE IT! 💯.
😎 Lo segundo que me atrapó de este canal fue que la historia es contada por dos chicos: Dorian que es el historiador, investigador, lector y amante de la crónica venezolana; por su parte, está Miguel, ese amigo que no sabe ¡NADA! De lo que están hablando y se fascina con TODO lo que Dorian tiene para contar.
Esto es lo interesante porque, yo me creía Dorian, pero me siento tan Miguel que no puedo explicarlo 🙃, es decir, pensé que sabía mucho de historia de mi país y no sé nada ¿Les ha pasado?
De esto tiene algo de culpa (no toda) la escuela. Nos enseñan unas cosas tan básicas como el nombre del libertador o los países que liberó, pero créanme que no recuerdo que me hablaran de Mariño, Urdaneta, Cajigal o algún otro prócer que merece ser reconocido en todo el movimiento independentista.
De igual forma, algunos personajes puestos como "los malos de la historia" y que, en realidad, tenían mejores ideas que las de otros que exaltan, como por ejemplo, el mismo Bolívar; Cuentan en un episodio que un grupo luchaba por alcanzar la descentralización, pero dentro del sueño de Bolívar seguía la idea de centralizar. Por esto, algunos inclusos fueron catalogados como traidores. Lo más irónico, es que 3 siglos después, la descentralización ha funcionado 🙃.
😎 The second thing that caught my attention about this channel was that the story is told by two guys: Dorian, who is the historian, researcher, reader, and lover of Venezuelan chronicles; and Miguel, who is the friend who knows NOTHING about what they are talking about and is fascinated by EVERYTHING Dorian has to say. This is interesting because I thought I was Dorian, but I feel so much like Miguel that I can't explain it. I mean, I thought I knew a lot about my country's history, but I don't know anything. Has this ever happened to you?
Schools are partly to blame for this (not entirely). They teach us basic things like the name of the liberator or the countries he liberated, but believe me, I don't remember them telling me about Mariño, Urdaneta, Cajigal, or any other hero who deserves to be recognized in the independence movement. Similarly, some figures are portrayed as “the villains of history” when, in reality, they had better ideas than others who are glorified, such as Bolívar himself. They tell the story of a group that fought for decentralization, but Bolívar's dream was to centralize. Because of this, some were even labeled as traitors. The most ironic thing is that three centuries later, decentralization has worked 🙃.
😎 Todos los capítulos me los he disfrutado ¡TODOS! Es un canal relativamente nuevo, por lo que tiene 11 capítulos de una hora cada uno, y los he visto, pero quisiera que fueran 1000 porque cada uno siempre llevan como 4 historias dentro, entonces faltan muchísimos para poder entender y opinar sobre todo lo que ocurrió por casi 100 años, e incluso después cuando se instalaron las repúblicas, ¿Lo mejor? Es que lo hablan en un lenguaje sencillo, muy moderno, que ni molesta, porque se entiende perfectamente.
He disfrutado mucho el capítulo de unas estatuas que existen a 1 km de mi casa y ¡NI SIQUIERA SABÍA QUIÉNES ERAN ESAS PERSONAS! Y resulta que es un momento histórico donde se abrazan dos grandes próceres, cuando todo era adverso para el ejército patriótico. Si quieres saber de qué trata, aquí te lo dejo:

😎 I enjoyed ALL of the episodes, EVERY SINGLE ONE! It's a relatively new channel, so it has 11 episodes, each lasting an hour, and I've watched them all, but I wish there were 1,000 because each one always has about four stories in it, so there are still a lot missing to be able to understand and comment on everything that happened over almost 100 years, and even after that, when the republics were established. The best thing? It's that they speak in simple, very modern language, which isn't annoying at all because it's perfectly understandable.
I really enjoyed the episode about some statues that are 1 km from my house, and I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHO THOSE PEOPLE WERE! It turns out that it's a historic moment where two great heroes embrace each other when everything was going against the patriotic army. 😎 Por último, tenemos que apoyar lo nuestro, lo que suma, lo que ayuda a ser más cultos. He visto contenido que no hacen nada, solo hablar mal de otro, un chiste, burlarse del otro, cosas pesadas y ver esta cooperación, como a Dorian le apasiona contar, enseñar, tiene paciencia y como Miguel aprende, pregunta, recuerda, se interesa por lo que están hablando.
Yo les recomiendo que lo escuchen cocinando, lavando el baño, doblando ropa, donde esas tareas se hacen tediosas y escuchándolos, les puedo asegurar que aprenderán de forma jocosa y entretenida 😉.
😎 Finally, we have to support what is ours, what adds value, what helps us become more cultured. I have seen content that does nothing but speak ill of others, make jokes, mock others, and say hurtful things. Seeing this collaboration, how Dorian is passionate about telling stories and teaching, how patient he is, and how Miguel learns, asks questions, remembers, and is interested in what they are talking about.
I recommend that you listen to them while cooking, cleaning the bathroom, folding clothes, where those tasks become tedious, and by listening to them, I can assure you that you will learn in a fun and entertaining way 😉.

It is always good to know the history of where we come from, who we are as a society and what really happened in the past and it is true that many things are not as we were told. You bring an interesting channel with a topic out of the ordinary and even if you are not passionate about podcasts this one did appeal to you, it also tells your own story.
The most interesting thing is what you mention about the protagonists, one is a connoisseur of the subject and the other knows nothing and marvels with everything that the first one tells and the best of all is that you identify with both of them. That must be what attracts people to watch them, that they have their own style. Historia era la materia que mas odiaba de la escuela, pero por el metodo de enseñanza, siempre se enfocaban en lo mismo, lo que mencionas, nombres y paises conquistados, bla bla bla, pero la historia abarcaba mas que eso, nunca se salieron de los mismos temas y uno termina odiando esa materia jajaja son miles de años que transcurrieron y siempre enseñaban lo mismo, nojoda jajajajaja
Tampoco me gustan los podcast, me aburren 😂 pero si el presentador (o los presentadores) tienen mucho carisma y te enganchan creo que vale la pena escucharlos, yo seria Miguel, sin duda jajaja
Te cuento Buhito: Si en algún momento vuelas por Bogotá y te posas en la Plaza Bolívar, entenderás que aquí la gente ¡NO SABE DE NADA! Y lo que repiten es lo de los libros que ni entienden, así que no te culpo que fuera lo más aburrido del cole.
