Greetings everyone, I have been inactive these days because I've been very busy, tomorrow Saturday April 22 I have a concert, I will perform with my solo project Enhok with two bands in the Butyklan room in Les corts in Barcelona and preparations among other things have had my hands full, so I have stopped the generation of specific content for Hive, however I want to take the opportunity to share a song of my own that I will perform tomorrow at the concert, and taking advantage of the recording of the rehearsal I bring you one of my songs.

The song is called ¨Waiting for you... to die¨.

This song is part of my EP called Embriogénesis, and you can listen to it on all digital platforms like youtube, Spotify and Apple Music.

This recording has been completely live and is part of the rehearsals for the show. I am accompanied on bass by a friend of mine, he is Vil Tenebrae and bassist of the industrial metal band Draven. Since my solo project is completely independent Vil decided to join me on stage because he liked the proposal, so he has added his arrangements to the compositions.

For this recording I used different connections that allow me to split the bass and vocal signals. In the case of the bass, Vil connects to his Line 6 POD Floor pedalboard, and this effects pedalboard has an output for the amplifier and another one that sends the direct bass line, this line arrives to my recording interface on channel number two.

My voice is connected from the microphone to an ART Tube Studio V3 preamp, which allows me to get two outputs, one via XLR cable that goes directly to my recording interface on channel 1, and the other output goes via Jack cable, which allows me to enter is effects pedals such as distortion, chorus and delay for the sound, chorus and delay for the live sound, then to take the signal to the mixer for the live sound I added a direct box that transforms the signal from unbalanced in Jack connector to balanced in XLR connector, and in this way I can get to the mixer, control the gain and equalization if necessary.

Also the recording interface sends the sound of the playbacks through stereo on its main outputs.

Saludos a todos, he estado inactivo en estos días porque he estado muy ocupado, mañana Sábado 22 de Abril tengo un concierto, me presentare con mi proyecto solista Enhok junto a dos agrupaciones en la sala Butyklan de Les corts en Barcelona y los preparativos entre otras cosas me han tenido a manos llenas, así que he parado la generación de contenido específico para Hive, sin embargo quiero aprovechar para compartir una canción propia que voy a interpretar mañana en el concierto, y aprovechando la grabación del ensayo les traigo una de mis canciones.

Esta grabación ha sido completamente en vivo y es parte de los ensayos para el show. En el bajo me acompaña un amigo, el es Vil Tenebrae y es bajista de la banda de metal industrial Draven. Ya que mi proyecto solista es completamente independiente Vil decidió acompañarme en el escenario pues le gustó la propuesta, por lo tanto ha agregado sus arreglos a las composiciones.

Para realizar esta grabación utilicé conexiones diversas que me permiten dividir las señales del bajo y la voz. En el caso del bajo, Vil se conecta a su pedalera Line 6 POD Floor, y esta pedalera de efectos tiene una salida para el amplificador y otra que manda la línea directa del bajo, esta línea llega a mi interfaz de grabación en el canal número dos.

Mi voz se conecta del micrófono a un preamplificador ART Tube Studio V3, que me permite sacar dos salidas, una vía cable XLR que va directamente a mi interface de grabación por el canal 1, y la otra salida va por cable Jack, cosa que me permite entrar a is pedales de efectos como distortion, chorus y delay para el sonido en vivo, luego para llevar la señal a la mesa de mezclas del sonido en vivo agregó una caja directa que transforma la señal de desbalanceada en conector Jack a balanceada en conector XLR, y de esta forma puedo llegar a la mesa de mezclas, controlar la ganancia y la ecualización de ser necesario.

Además la interfaz de grabación manda por estereo en sus salidas principales el sonido de los playbacks.
