Goldbacks On Display

I finally got around to framing up the Goldbacks and Zombuck so that I could hang them up on my office wall. I like the idea of having them on display, not just because they are beautiful to look at but it's what they represent to me. That's got some depth to it too because to me they don't just represent an alternative form of Sound Money that's not so far removed from the paper and plastic we carry in our wallets...but they also represent a friendship and camaraderie shared with some of my stacker brothers from the other side of the world.

These cool currency notes are made from actual Gold and Silver and they come from North America. They were given to me by 2 of the most legendary SGS community members that I've had the pleasure to get to know. They are, of course @summertooth and @silverd510. What you see in these photos above arrived over here in Australia via 3 separate deliveries over the last year or so.

I like to put things up in my office that uplift me, inspire or remind me of the good times because sometimes work life is a bit shit and little stuff like this helps me stay positive. It's also good to be able to show off stuff like this when I have visitors. Not that I have many visitors in my office but sometimes I get an opportunity to talk about my passions and having them on display like this makes that very easy to do.
