It’s been a long time coming but this final auction of land and assets is almost finished and the new world launch is scheduled for November 25, which is only a day or so away. I have been a bit preoccupied of late, but I do own 2 outer plots (via NFT on WAX) and will be playing the new world from launch so with any luck I’ll find some gold on those plots and be well on my way to new riches!

The old worlds of Prospectors have been slowly dwindling away and I’ve maintained some of my buildings there with production slowly ticking over. While those old worlds themselves have been stuck in a bit of a deflationary depression, the price of PGL itself has been going VERY strong in the lead up to the new Grand Land world being launched. If you have a look on the NewDex you can see that the current price of PGL is up to about 44 US Cents which is a pretty strong increase on just a few short months ago.

The above chart is priced in EOS but you can see that PGL has gone about x5 in the last 2 months, most likely due to enthusiasm over the upcoming Grand Land auctions and the excitement that goes with a new world launch. So if anyone out there is still holding PGL I’d suggest you either put it to good use and buy something with it, or sell it on the market while the price is pumped. The last few lots are being auctioned off HERE for anyone interested. There is also a secondary market for the Grand Land which you can see on the WAX Atomic Hub

The outer lands are a bit cheaper on the secondary market than those central plots currently being auctioned off on the main site. I have 1 plot in the Western region and 1 in the Northeast Region, so if you want to buy a cheap plot nearby to me then maybe we can help each other out.

WAX is a separate blockchain that is a clone of EOS. It has a focus on Gaming and Non Fungible Tokens. Even if you're not into Gaming much, it's worth checking out the Atomic Hub marketplace to see all the NFTs on there.
I'll certainly check it out. I see more future in NFT connected to gaming, because of the usability part, but that could be bias because I don't mind gaming.
Splinterlands has already proved that there can be significant value appreciation for gaming related NFTs. Splinterlands also has a cross-chain gateway to WAX so you will see ported Splinterlands assets on Atomic Hub too.
