I liked the coin.
So I started a new collection.
Even though I have a lot of unfinished collections I couldn't resist it.
It's a Silver Ten Franc Coin from France.
I liked it so much that I bought some non-silver ten francs. They were made from 1945 to 1949. I got three on a local auction site. The non-silver coin is made of 7 grams, of copper-nickel alloy. This coin is from the Fourth French Republic.

Of course That's where I found that precious silver one, which is why I started it all.
It was minted in the period from 1929 to 1939.And it belongs to the period of the Third French Republic.
The silver coin weighs 10 grams of 0.680 silver. And it is larger in diameter than non-silver ones.

Thanks for stopping by and reading.

The French at the time designed this coin to appear more valuable considering the dimensions and debasement of silver fineness. Of course 1929 was the start of the Great Depression and even European countries weren't spared the effects of the Depression and economic damage.

I liked the design of the coin, of course I would have liked it to have more silver in it but this is "tolerable".
Yes the Great Depression did a lot of damage around the world.
