Silver Order Arrived in Time for New 3D Printed Stacking Tubes

Last week I wrote about ordering some silver rounds from APMEX using Litecoin. Well, my order arrived today right to my doorstep! I had puchased 5 Morgan dollar 1 oz silver rounds to add to my personal stack, and I also bought a cool coin for my daughter's boyfriend for a Christmas gift.

These Morgan dollars look to be brand new rounds. They are very nice and fresh and have that signature silver luster that I do love to look at. They are good looking coins to add to the stack for sure. I ran into one problem though, I ran out of plastic coin caps to keep them protected, so I decided to 3D print some tubes that I found on Thingiverse.

This particular tube is designed to hold 5- 1oz rounds and can even fit them with the capsules, which is nice. There were files for 5, 10, and 15 1oz rounds, so no need to purchase any tubes from a company when I can just make them. The one thing that I would need to order are the capsules I like for each coin. I tried to 3D print on, but it didn't work out so well. The tubes work great though, so I will be printing up more of these to go with my other displays and coin cases that I will be selling at trade shows in the future. Yes, I am still planning on turning this into a business.

I really like the Corvette coin that I got for my daughter's boyfriend who is an epic car dude. They are both working together to save for their future, so I figured what a better way to save than with some silver! What is cool about giving silver coins as a gift is that you can find some premium rounds like this that will fit someone's interest. And who doesn't love getting a bit of treasure for Christmas?

Anyway, that's it for this stacking report. I am up to 41 oz in my collection at this point and hope to get to my goal of 100 oz in the next couple of months! I am planning on making some DEFI moves with some crypto so I may be getting there sooner than later.

Until next time my dudes...

Be cool, be real, and keep stacking!

That neat that you can print off the tubes! The cost of capsules does add up!

They do add up fast. I have been playing with a couple of different displays.

I'd be interested in seeing them!

A nice add to your stack @thelogicaldude
The Morgan inspired design is a tribute to the original Morgan dollar that used to be minted from 1878 to 1904, and in 1921. The 2021 Morgan made a comeback. I love the design and I personally favor the Morgan over the Peace Dollar design.

Yeah, it's a great classic design. I like it a lot.
