It was Monday morning.
I was still making preparations
for my class by 9.
It's almost the end of winter,
but I still get the chills
anytime I step out of my warm room
to the corridor,
and go all the way down
to the basement for a hot shower.
Eyes closed, water flowing down my skin,
I get lost in thoughts
of what lies ahead.
Worry tries to overtake me,
but right there and then,
I am reminded;
"I am Father and you are son"
