Hi everyone! As our event continues, I continue to resist with my fourth post. 😂 However, I used to post almost every day. This good weather may have ruined me.😂 For a few days, even though it's very hot, it's breezy. The winds make more sense now. I think I've found a way to cope with the heat; I don't care. 😂 Even if I sweat or get overwhelmed, I continue to do what I'm doing as if nothing is happening. So I get used to it after a while. I recommend this to everyone in almost everything. 😂 Today I will tell you about my canyon trip, one of the most enjoyable parts of my holiday. Şahindere Canyon is a place in the Mount Ida Mountains, inside the mountain, which can be reached by driving for about 15-20 minutes on winding and dirt roads. I think minibuses also go here. Because I met a minibus returning on the way, but I'm not sure about that. After driving through dense forests, a fee of 20tl is paid to enter the last point. This fee is for the car park. After we parked our car in an empty spot in the dirt car park, the first thing that caught our eye was this big tree. Who knows how old it is...

From here, we walked down the narrow path into the canyon and entered the cold flowing stream. We walked for a while among the surrounding rocks and trees, stepping on the stones overflowing from the surface of the water. After a while, we realised that these stones were wet and slippery because they could not rise above the water. So, we tried to walk on the edge of the stream as much as possible. Eventually, there were no stones or paths left. So we walked through the water, taking care of every step. It was a very difficult, dangerous and slow journey. At one point we almost gave up because we could not see the bottom of the water. Fortunately, we took the path of someone who came back and continued because he told us, "It is very difficult but it will be worth it."

On the way, it was the trees that astonished me the most. The old tree roots integrated with the stones caused us to slow down our already slow walk. There were many trees like this. And I marvelled every time I saw them. At the same time, these old roots looked as if they would come alive in an instant, so we walked without stepping on them. I think the reason I had this feeling was because of a film I used to watch, the name of which I don't remember now, in which trees walk and talk.

Although we went here with slippers and jeans because we did not know, if you are thinking of going, I recommend you to wear sea shorts and sea shoes. Thus, you can also enter the water in deeper places. Moreover, since the slippers have a more slippery structure, they tend to constantly come off your feet. You should also be very careful when stepping on the stones. A few people slipped and fell. Although the ones I saw were not seriously injured, falling can have different consequences. The saddest consequence is not being able to reach the end of the path or giving up because you are not dressed appropriately. Because this place is really marvellous.

The place you reach at the end of the road is like a pond. Because the stones are shaped like that here. At the place where the waterfall flows, which is not very high, there are large stones that slow down the passage of water, so the water collects here. Even though I walked to the place where the water did not pass my knees, I could not go further because my clothes were not suitable. Moreover, the water is so cold that even if I had clothes, I would probably go back halfway. Because even standing in the water was very difficult for me. Even sitting on the edge and seeing people swimming in the water was enough to make me cold.

Before we started on our way back, we sat on the edge for a while and rested. Although the water was cold here, the temperature was high. Immediately after we got out, our bodies dried out and we started to get hot, so we went in and out of the water a few more times, as if we were defying nature. Finally, we realised that we could not fight with the cold and the heat and we went back. Maybe because we were experienced now, the way back was faster. Stay happy...

Selam millet! Etkinliğimiz devam ederken dördüncü paylaşımımla ben de direnmeye devam ediyorum. 😂 Halbuki eskiden neredeyse her gün paylaşım yapıyordum. Beni bu güzel havalar mahvetmiş olabilir.😂 Birkaç gündür, hava çok sıcak olsa da esintili. Rüzgarlar, şimdi daha anlamlı. Sanırım ben de sıcakla baş etmenin yöntemini buldum; umursamıyorum. 😂 Terlesem de bunalsam da yaptığım işi yapmaya hiçbir şey yokmuş gibi devam ediyorum. Böylece bir süre sonra alışıyorum. Bunu herkese hemen hemen her konuda tavsiye ederim. 😂 Bugün size tatilimin en keyifli kısımlarından birisi olan kanyon gezimi anlatacağım. Vücudumun üst kısmının yandığı, alt kısmının donduğu o güzel günü…

Şahindere Kanyon’u Kazdağları’nda, dağın içerisindeki, virajlı ve toprak yollardan yaklaşık 15-20 dk araçla giderek ulaşılabilen bir yer. Sanırım buraya dolmuş da gidiyor. Çünkü giderken geri dönen bir dolmuşla karşılaştım. Ama bundan emin değilim. Sık ormanların arasında ilerledikten sonra, son noktaya giriş için 20tl gibi bir ücret ödeniyor. Bu ücret otopark için. Toprak otoparkın boş bir yerine aracımızı park ettikten sonra, gözümüze ilk ilişen bu büyük ağaç oldu. Kim bilir kaç yıllık…

Buradan kanyonun içerisine inen dar patikayı yürüyerek, akan soğuk derenin içerisine girdik. Etrafı çevreleyen kayalıklar ve ağaçların arasında, suyun yüzeyinden taşan taşlara basarak bir süre ilerledik. Bir süre sonra bu taşların, suyun üzerine çıkamadığı için ıslak ve kaygan olduğunu fark ettik. Böylece, mümkün mertebe, derenin kenarından yürümeye çalıştık. En nihayetinde, ne taş kaldı ne yol. Biz de suyun içerisinden her adımımıza dikkat ederek yürüdük. Bu çok zor, tehlikeli ve yavaş ilerlerleyen bir yolculuktu. Hatta bir noktada suyun dibi görünmediği için neredeyse vazgeçecektik. Neyse ki geri dönen birisinin yolunu kullanıp devam ettik. Çünkü bize, "Çok zor ama gittiğinize değecek" dedi.

Yol üzerinde, beni en çok hayretler içerisinde bırakan, gene ağaçlardı. Taşlarla bütünleşmiş olan, yaşlı ağaç kökleri, zaten yavaş olan yürüyüşümüzü yavaşlatmamıza neden oldu. Bu şekilde bir sürü ağaç vardı. Ve ben her gördüğümde hayretler içerisinde bakakaldım. Bu yaşlı kökler, aynı zamanda, bir anda canlanacak gibi diri durduğu için, üzerine basmadan yürüdük. Sanırım, bu hissiyatın bende oluşmasının sebebi, eskiden izlediğim, ağaçların yürüyüp, konuştuğu, şu an ismini hatırlamadığım film.

Biz bilmediğimiz için buraya terlik ve kot pantolonla gitsek de, eğer siz gitmeyi düşünürseniz, deniz şortu ve deniz ayakkabısı giyinmenizi öneririm. Böylece derin olan yerlerde de suya girebilirsiniz. Üstelik terlik daha kaygan bir yapıya sahip olduğu için sürekli ayağınızdan çıkma eğiliminde bulunuyor. Bir de taşlara basarken çok dikkatli olmalısınız. Birkaç kişi kayıp düştü. Her ne kadar benim gördüklerim ağır bir yara almasalar da, düşmenin farklı sonuçları olabilir. Uygun kıyafet giyinmediğiniz için, yolun sonuna ulaşamayacak veya bundan vazgeçecek olmak ise en üzücü sonuç. Çünkü burası gerçekten muhteşem.

Yolun sonunda ulaşılan yer bir gölet gibi. Çünkü taşlar burada öyle şekillenmiş. Çok da yüksek olmayan şelalenin aktığı yerde, suyun geçişini yavaşlatan, büyük taşlar olduğu için, burada su toplanmış. Ben dizlerimi geçmeyen yerine kadar yürüsem de kıyafetim uygun olmadığı için daha ileri gidemedim. Üstelik su o kadar soğuk ki, kıyafetim olsa bile, yarı yoldan geri dönerdim muhtemelen. Çünkü suyun içerisinde durmak bile beni çok zorladı. Kenara oturup, suyun içerisinde yüzenleri görmek bile beni üşütmeye yetti.

Dönüş yoluna geçmeden önce, bir süre kenarda oturup dinlendik. Burada su her ne kadar soğuk olsa da, sıcaklık da yüksekti. Çıktıktan hemen sonra vücudumuz kuruyup, sıcaklamaya başladığımız için doğaya karşı gelircesine, birkaç kez daha suya girip çıktık. Sonunda bu soğukla da sıcakla da mücadele edemeyeceğimizi anlayıp geri döndük. Artık tecrübeli olduğumuzdan mıdır nedir, dönüş yolu daha hızlı oldu. Mutlulukla kalın…
