Hello everyone. I have mentioned my interest in historical buildings many times. Today I will tell you about a building that dates back to ancient times but looks like it was built quite recently. The name of this place is Kırşehir Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Mosque. 🕌

Herkese merhaba. Tarihi yapılara olan ilgimden çok kez bahsetmiştim. Bugün sizlere görünümü epey eski zamanlardan kalma gibi duran ancak oldukça yakın bir geçmişte inşa edilen bir yapıdan bahsedeceğim. Bu yerin ismi ismi Kırşehir Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Camii. 🕌

When I first saw the mosque, I thought it was a historical monument and wanted to visit it as soon as possible and get information about it. After parking our car in an available place, we quickly started to visit the mosque because we had limited time. I couldn't see any information about the mosque around, but the year 2011 was written on the entrance gate. We discussed with @bilginselcuk the possibility that this mosque was built in 2011. This seemed a little impossible to me. I thought maybe they wrote the date of the last restoration. However, as a result of our little research, we learned that the construction of this mosque started very recently in 2003, and that its construction was completed and opened for worship in 2011. This situation surprised me quite a bit. Its color harmony and tone, stone structure, architecture and decorations resembled a structure from ancient times. As a result of our research, we learned that the construction of the Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Mosque was inspired by the architecture of the Seljuk period.🕌 According to my thesis, I think such a thing was done to integrate with the historical texture of the city. Because the Cacabey Madrasa, which I shared before, had exactly the same architecture and color tone. It was a different experience for us to see a recently built mosque that reflects the past so beautifully with its simple and magnificent appearance. Referances.

Camiyi ilk gördüğümde tarihi bir eser olduğunu düşündüğüm için burayı bir an önce gezmek ve hakkında bilgi almak istedim. Aracımızı müsait bir yere park ettikten sonra zamanımız kısıtlı olduğu için camiyi hızlıca gezmeye başladık. Etrafta cami ile ilgili bilgi göremedim ancak giriş kapısının üzerinde 2011 yazıyordu. Bu caminin 2011 yılında yapılmış olma ihtimalini @bilginselcuk ile tartıştık. Bu bana biraz imkansız gelmişti. Belki en son yapılan restorasyonun tarihini yazmışlardır diye düşündüm. Ancak yaptığımız ufak araştırmalar sonucu bu caminin oldukça yakın bir geçmişte, 2003 yılında yapımına başlandığını ve 2011 yılında inşasının biterek ibadete açıldığını öğrendik. Bu durum beni oldukça şaşırtmıştı. Renk uyumu ve tonu, taş yapısı, mimarisi, süslemeleri eski dönemden kalma bir yapıyı andırıyordu. Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Camii yapılırken Selçuklu dönemi mimarisinden esinlenmiş olduğunuda araştırmalarımız sonucu öğrendik.🕌 Kendimce ürettiğim teze göre şehrin tarihsel dokusunu bütünleştirmek için böyle bir şey yapıldığını düşünüyorum. Çünkü daha önce paylaştığım Cacabey Medresesinde de tıpkı böyle bir mimari ve renk tonu vardı. Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Mosque is also quite large and designed to accommodate a large number of people. Since our time was limited, we could not fully explore the interior and surroundings of the mosque. At the same time, we did not want to disturb people as prayer time was approaching. The opening of various workplaces right under the mosque was not a pleasant sight either. I think buildings with such a beautiful and historical appearance should be given more value. Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Camii aynı zamanda oldukça geniş ve epey fazla sayıda kişinin ibadet yapılması için tasarlanmış. Zamanımız kısıtlı olduğu için caminin içini ve etrafını tam olarak gezemedik. Aynı zamanda ibadet saati de yaklaştığı için insanları rahatsız etmek istemedik. Caminin hemen altına çeşitli iş yerleri açılmış ve hiç hoş bir görüntü olmamış. Bence bu kadar güzel ve tarihi görünüme sahip yapılara daha kıymetli davranmak gerekir.
