Explored a new Trail at the Seaside

Back at the start of May, I went out and drove near Vääna on the north coast of Estonia. The weather was boring as hell and even got a bit of snow on the ground, which I didn't particularly enjoy cause it should be spring 😅.

I still wanted to be active and go for a walk and possibly take some photos on the way.
I have been to the Vääna beach many times, but the route I took there through the forest was new to me.

The trail through this forest was really cool actually. There were a lot of these small hills you can see in the photo. This place used to be a beach at some point in time but the shore has moved further away.

These hills most likely used to be sand dunes on the shore until the forest took over.

Some trees have black tree trunks. This is most likely the result of a forest fire there.

Here you can see the same sand dunes right on the beach but these are not covered with trees. Probably will in the future.

I didn't take many photos of the beach itself, because of the weather and I already have a lot anyway.
