CONNECTING WITH NATURE TO HEAL AND FOR PEACE OF MIND

in Outdoors and more2 months ago (edited)

Even though I wasn't feeling well and had a full body massage yesterday night to which I was advised to rest the next day, I thought that I had enough rest and got a little energy to climb up as an exercise to be part of my healing. I'm not that worried as well since I have my nurse friend with me too...

I thought my friend Nurse, her sister, and my cousins were the only people to climb up but I was surprised that they invited some friends to come along. for someone who no longer likes to be around people much, I was a little bit uncomfortable with the situation, I was just expecting that I'd be climbing with someone who I'm close with. but the more people the more fun.

I'm just walking behind them, taking pictures of the situation, and thinking of blogging about it which is what I'm doing right now hahaha

the sun hasn't risen yet, and it's still a little dark, so I brought my flashlight with me, I have bad eyesight, especially in the dark, afraid I'll step on a snake, just being cautious, It's better to be safe 😉

this is my friend's nurse sister as well as the wife of my cousin, when she overheard our plan to climb up she was up for it, having the thought that it would be her way to exercise. I asked how long she was due, she replied she was 7 months pregnant, a lot of our family is excited for her baby since it's a girl, which is a rare gender in the family since most of our family is dominated by males. just sharing ~

we still have a long way to go, normally this mountain can only be walked for an hour or less, but we took 2 hours to climb it because everyone kept stopping to rest, not that I mind though, I love resting too because every time I climb here together with my friend, resting was only done when reaching the top.

climbing in this mountain became regular to me, thanks to my friend who pushed me to come along with her every time she climbs, now I find myself initiating to invite her to climb.

I walked ahead while listening to my cousin's wife that she was tired and hurting, my nurse friend jokingly said, that she might give birth in the mountains, we laughed about it but were worried hoping that it wasn't the case, imagine it happening and all of us will run down either to ask help or carry her in a hurry hahaha! but thankfully it didn't happen.

we reached the top of the mountain, and as always the view is very beautiful, viewing our little city covered with lots of trees and surrounded by mountains.

I have been to this place a lot of times and It's always a good feeling to reach the top.

I walked down to sit on one of the cottages and sat down at the table and had the thought of bringing food and having breakfast here for a change.

when we already had enough rest and decided to come down, I made friends with the new people around and knew that they arent from the city and were just visiting the area, and its their first time climbing this mountain and they were making the most out of the place because they'll be leaving soon... It was nice meeting them though 😊

Nature has its way of bringing peace so this is my way of looking after my well-being by climbing and seeing beautiful landscapes inside the mountain as it frees me from all the stress and anxiety I've been feeling these past few months and days. One thing I realize is that I'm thankful to be living in a place close to nature.
