The English longbow had a draw-weight of between 80-150 pounds...180? I'd need hydraulics.

Nah you'd be fine, just got to use two hands. It's not as hard as it looks. But hurts your fingers after a few shots.
I think I'll stick to the guns...A bit easier, if one knows what one is doing. 😀
At least bolts don't go rusty and if they do they don't kill you 🤣 I've had these since I was 11 and 12. Found em when we were moving. I disposed of them as I didn't want them deteriorating and going off in the cupboard.
Different world when I was at school, I remember when I took them in for show and tell. We all had to bring things in about hobbies.
Previous week I brought in a rabbits tail and everyone lost their shit.
Then I brought these in and the teachers lost their shit.
I couldn't understand the rucuos, they asked us to bring in our hobbies.
