Epic Escapades: An Unforgettable Birthday Beach Overnight

Every person has their idea of how they want to celebrate their birthday. Some want to spend it intimately with their family, some want to toast a drink with their close friends, and some want to celebrate it extraordinarily – like going to the beach or an adventure.

This blog will mainly focus on our beach overnight when we celebrated one of our friends’ special day. As mentioned in the title, it was an epic escapade, and if we triggered your curiosity about it, you may continue reading for you to know the details.

A friend told us about his plans to host a beach overnight on his birthday, and we said yes. We started preparing what we needed in the morning, like camping tents, utensils, and extra clothes. Also, we went to the market to buy food, snacks, and drinks for the celebration. After the unending preparations, it was around 4:00 in the afternoon when we decided to go to the beach. We rode a motorcycle to Pundaquit Beach in San Antonio, Zambales.

It was an almost 30-minute ride before we finally touched down on the beach. We brought a lot of stuff since it was overnight, so it was a challenge to get them as we walked in the sand. But we were very optimistic about everything and set aside the complaints about the heavy bags we were carrying until we got into the spot we wanted.

We just took a breath for a few minutes when we were already in the spot we wanted. After a quick rest, the next duty that needed to be done was setting up the camping tents before it got darker. We brought the tents in the bags and worked together to set them up. We have three camping tents, so it took us a while.

After putting up the tents, it’s finally cooking time. We brought chickens and hotdogs to grill for this beach overnight. We got everything ready, from the charcoal, barbecue sticks, and an improvised grilling station. When things were perfectly settled, we started the cooking session for our dinner, even though we also brought some already-cooked food.

The cooking took us about an hour before we finally said the dinner was ready. The chickens and hotdogs in barbecue sticks are already good to go, so we organized them on some paper plates. Then, we started preparing the rest of the foods we brought.

Here, we have some Pancit Guisado and Adobong Atay, and of course, ]]]]the rice will always be remembered. When everything was set up, from the food, utensils, and drinks, we decided to eat dinner. We should have taken pictures while eating since we were hungry and just enjoyed the food on our plates.

After sharing good food, our friend had already blown out the candle and had his cake sliced for the night. And this is when the fun started. We already brought out the drinks we bought; a whiskey with some ice will surely make the night better. We grabbed some cups and started the drinking session.

But in the middle of everything, the rain started to pour. The heavy clouds already covered the sight of the stars and the moon. We were there to enjoy, so even with the rain, we continued the celebration and even went to the sea for a quick swim.

Both the rain and the seawater touched our skin, which made the experience great. And this is the reason why we said it was a very unforgettable beach overnight we had. Of course, here’s our quick aesthetic photo for everyone.
