Greetings to all @DBuzz users! We are excited to announce release DBuzz v3.36.0. This version is packed with a tons of improvements, and bug fixes aimed at enhancing your DBuzz experience and making the platform more user-friendly. We continuously strive to evolve and align our platform with your needs, and this update is a testament to that commitment.

What’s New in v3.36.0? 🎉

Simplified Links: Streamlining User Navigation

One of the significant changes in this update is the simplification of DBuzz links. We realized that the "#" symbol, which was a necessary component in our previous versions, could sometimes confuse or complicate navigation for our users. So, we decided to do away with it. The new link format aligns with the other HIVE DApps, which enhances interoperability among DApps and makes navigation smoother and more intuitive.

A Surge of Improvements 🚀

Auto-Redirect for Username or Hashtags Search

Now, whenever you search for a username or a hashtag, you will automatically be redirected to the search section. This new feature is aimed at streamlining your search process, making it quicker and more efficient.

Dynamic Buzz Size Adjustment with Resize Observer

To further enhance the UI and UX, we've incorporated a resize observer to accommodate dynamic buzz sizes. This feature ensures that there is no overlapping of buzzes in post lists, thereby improving readability and giving you a cleaner, more organized view.

Expanded Support for Crypto Tickers

This means more crypto tickers are now supported.

A Barrage of Bug Fixes 🔎

We've been working tirelessly to identify and address bugs to make your DBuzz experience as seamless as possible. Here are the main issues we've tackled in this update:

  1. Trending Hashtag and Search Issue: We fixed a bug that caused outdated posts (from 2 years ago) to appear in the trending hashtag section and search results. Now, you will only see the most current and relevant posts.
  2. Search Feature Crash: The bug causing the app to crash during search operations has been fixed.
  3. Hashtag Redirection: Clicking on a hashtag now redirects you to the correct lowercase hashtag.
  4. Profile Photo Display: Fixed the issue where profile photos weren't visible when searching for users.
  5. 'More' and 'Logout' Buttons: The 'More' button now displays correctly, and the 'Logout' button no longer overlaps it.
  6. Profile Editing: The bug that interfered with profile editing has been resolved.
  7. Estimated Account Value Display: We've fixed the issue affecting the display of estimated account values.
  8. Cast.garden Embed Conflict: A bug causing conflicts with cast.garden embeds has been resolved.

In addition to these, we've also tackled several minor bugs and made subtle improvements to enhance the overall performance of the DApp.

We're committed to making DBuzz the best it can be, and we thank you for your ongoing support and feedback. Stay tuned for more updates, and happy buzzing!
