We're thrilled to share the strides we've made since our last update. Our team has been hard at work refining DBuzz to enhance your experience and interaction on our platform. This update is packed with improvements across d.buzz, chat.d.buzz, blog.d.buzz, and a special announcement about our commitment to the Hive community.
Commitment to Open Source
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and community involvement, last year, we made the entire codebase of DBuzz available on GitHub. D.Buzz Updates
New Updates:
- Desktop Enhancements: The left sidebar menu on the desktop version has undergone UI and UX updates, making navigation smoother.
- Character Limit FAQs: Added a FAQ section for the buzz title section's character limit to clarify any confusion.
- Enhanced Search Filters: Now you can filter comments and replies in search results for more targeted browsing.
Improvements:
- Dynamic Thumbnails & SEO: For image uploads, we've implemented dynamic thumbnail generation and enhanced SEO.
- Wallet Page & Buzz Button: Updated the wallet page font and the buzz button to align with the active theme.
- Notifications & FAQs: Improved the notifications tab UI and updated the FAQs content for better clarity.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed YouTube playlist with additional parameters.
- Fixed notification page bugs.
- Fixed clear button on Notifications page.
- Fixed SEO for terms of service typeahead.
- Fixed follow/unfollow buttons on floating profile.
- Fixed blank screen bug due to missing permalink.
- Fixed red error on post reply.
- Fixed bottom navigation on iPhone.
- Fixed feeds bug which showed old posts sometimes.
- Fixed button link of chat.d.buzz on mobile version.
- Fixed profile username/profile pic information interchanging upon loading.

Chat.D.Buzz Enhancements
- UI Changes and Fixes: Added new UI changes and fixes to enhance the chat experience.
- Loading Indicators: Added loading indicators while the chat and the app are loading, for a smoother user experience.
- Versioning: Added versioning to ensure users are up to date with the latest features and bug fixes.
- Standardized Theme: Introduced a standardized theme across Chat.D.Buzz for consistency and better usability.
Next.Blog.D.Buzz Developments (Beta)
- Posts Tab: Added a posts tab in DBuzz blog profile pages for better content navigation.
- Link and Username Fixes: Fixed issues on links not working on usernames and profile menu, enhancing user interaction.
- Link Preview Removal: Removed link preview for a cleaner post presentation.
- Upload Limits: Adjusted limitations on uploads to optimize performance and user experience.
- Blog Post Options: Fixed blog post options when opened for more intuitive editing controls.
- Auto Saving Drafts: Implemented auto-saving as drafts of posts to prevent data loss.
- Hive Post Filter: Added all posts from Hive to feeds and long post options for broader content discovery.
- Sign-In Modal: Added popup sign-in modal upon upvoting or replying if not yet logged in to streamline the engagement process.
- Source Rendering: Fixed posted via source rendering to correctly display the origin of posts.
- Post Button Functionality: Addressed and fixed the issue of the Post button not working, ensuring reliable content submission.
- Tab Load Failure: Fixed intermittent tab failure on load caused by improper image setting, enhancing the reliability of the platform.
- Upvote Slider Default: Set the upvote slider to 1% by default for easier content appreciation.
- Giphy and Emoticons: Added functional giphy and emoticons buttons for enriched content creation.
- Content Tags Update: Removed the "Hive" hashtag tab on Blog.D.Buzz and added Events and For Sale for focused content exploration.
