I Found a Hive Glitch - Where to Report? Related to Fork?

in HiveDevs4 years ago

In response to this, my buddy told me I always seem to find the weird glitches - and after thinking on it, I have found quite a few in the past, most of which I solved on my own or eventually solved themselves. Since neither of us knew where to report bugs for Hive (please comment below if you know the appropriate place), I decided to publish this post about it in hopes that the right techy will see it.

When I view my own (@elamental) blog or "ALL POSTS" page from the @abundance.tribe account, my last two publications are not visible. I can see them just fine when logged into my account, and so can @kennyskitchen when logged into his account, but neither of us can see the recent posts on my account (@elamental) when logged into @abundance.tribe and viewing @elamental.

Additionally, when logged into the @abundance.tribe account and viewing that same account (@abundance.tribe), both the blog and "ALL POSTS" sections are missing recent posts AND re-Hive blog shares.

When logged out of all accounts completely (or logged into any of our personal accounts), everything is how it is supposed to be. This leads me to believe that the issue is with some sort of code related to the @abundance.tribe account specifically. I am not a programmer or blockchain dev however so this is beyond my skill to troubleshoot. It is not the worst bug in the world, but a bug non the less.

I also wonder if this issue has anything to do with the upcoming Hive-Fork I have been seeing notifications for. I am also still looking for info on what user features and other changes that will be noticed by bloggers are to occur with this upcoming fork. Is "Eclipse" going to be a completely new version of Hive like Hive was to Steem, or is it simply updates for elevated efficiency and user friendliness? Please inform me in the comments below if you are in the know on this. I am sure more people than just me are also wondering. I hope my glitch report helps in some way. Blessings!
