Hive Ledger Wallet is open source, so anyone can run it on their own, that's the first thing. In the near future, when we get the public release of the ledger app, there will be more applications supporting hardware wallets, for example, Hive Keychain is going to add the support as well :) So don't be afraid, there will be other options as well :)
