Introducing the HBD Savings Badges
We're happy to unveil a new set of automated badges, proudly crafted for general benefit to the Hive community and available to be integrated into your favorite Hive Project UI! Badges in general are for all of Hive and Built upon open-source software, these badges recognize and celebrate your commitment to the Hive ecosystem similar to the saved HIVE badge.

Inspired by the timeless elegance and prestige of royal hierarchies, our new badges celebrate the prudent savers and investors among us. With levels ranging from humble squires to powerful monarchs, these badges offer an engaging way to visually acknowledge your commitment to financial growth and stability within the Hive ecosystem.
Starting today, these prestigious badges will automatically appear on user profiles, highlighting their staked Hive Dollars (HBD).

Why HBD Savings Badges?
Badges are great ways to show accomplishment and staking HBD is an accomplishment.
We believe these badges will inspire users to stake more, encourage responsible financial behavior, and foster greater recognition of users' dedication to the Hive blockchain. As these badges are automated and blockchain-based, your status updates in real-time—providing a dynamic, accurate reflection of your HBD holdings.
Decentralized Integration
These badges are automatically linked to your Hive account and built on open-source technology. This means any Hive-based app or website can integrate and display your badges seamlessly, and they’ll continuously update according to your actual HBD savings amount.
They are available right now on PeakD.com and Hivehub.dev. Of note: there are tools on PeakD to change which badges you display and the order you display them on that site.

Part of this open source project for badges is making the automated code to apply the badges and giving developers access to that code so they can easily make automated badges like this for their own projects.

More important that badges is the ability to embed video in posts. It is a fundamental value of Hive to spurn censorship, yet only video from notorious censor Youtoob has been enabled by Peakd. Several other platforms and common video protocols, Rumble, Odysee, X, and Bitchute, mp4, and webm would probably cover the vast majority of content creators needs today. Short video clips have been potential to discussion fora for decades. What is the barrier that prevents Peakd from enabling valuable information from being included directly in posts, that today can only be linked to - except the worst censorship platform in the world?

I was utterly unaware that Odysee was able to be embedded, and as I often link to Odysee videos, as I did in my last post, I will be sure to use the embedding option going forward.
I very much appreciate learning you have been ahead of my request, and note that is in keeping with the dedication and provision of service Peakd has at all times shown. I also look forward to such other video embedding abilities as they become available.

Well, I just tried to right click on an Odysee video to save the embed code, as it's done on Youtube. That didn't work. I downloaded the video as an .mp4 but that cannot be inserted into a post or comment yet. I then used the menu atop the text box to link to it, but that just creates a link. Santander Bank Closure.
Please provide instructions on how to embed video from Odysee in Hive posts and comments.

@asgarth @jarvie how is embedding Odysee video in Peakd posts and comments accomplished? There is no embed code available from right clicking on the video as there is on Youtoob. There is no other obvious way to embed the videos I have found. Is this just something you guys can do because you're devs, or can ordinary Peakd users also do it?
