Enhanced Curation Flow with Author Support Checks
When opening a post for curation, the system now performs four key checks on the author:
- Do they vote @sagarkothari88 as a witness?
- Do they follow the curation trail?
- Do they have ≥ 2,000 HP?
- Did they include promotional content in at least 10 of their last 20 posts?
If any check fails:
- A red blinking list is displayed above action buttons.
- Curators can quickly assess the author's level of support.

- If 2 or more checks fail:
- Curators must enter a reason (minimum 20 characters).
- Actions like Reply & Vote / Reply / Upvote remain locked until input is provided.
- The system does not block curation but captures intent.
- Reasons and failed checks are stored on the backend.

The author eligibility checks are the part that stands out here — especially the promotional content requirement across last 20 posts. Most curation tools evaluate post quality, not author behavior patterns. Shifting the filter upstream to the author level is a design choice that could reduce spam pressure significantly, though it also narrows the curation pool. Curious how the 2,000 HP threshold was chosen — was that based on payout distribution data or a manual judgment call?

I follow your healing trail but other users are manual healers
I have less than 2000 HP but I invest half of my rewards in Hive and I don't have more because I am not very well voted
It is important to support yourself as a witness but the other options can only be suggestions
You're doing an excellent job but sometimes so many demands ruin something beautiful. I genuinely support you because you have supported me a lot and I am grateful. hSnaps is wonderful and I will always talk about it and try to get many more to know it

Very good updates, the content curation selection system is interesting on the one hand and somewhat limiting on the other, which is good for the project as a whole. Aside from what I already told you on the Discord server, I haven't used any more promotional content since you said you would take into account the suggestion I gave you in the DM.
I'm also thinking about how to customize that "promotional content" a bit so it doesn't take up so much space at the end of each post. Three columns of blocks is already too much, in my opinion, and even more so if there are users who also place other things and banners at the end.
But well, I think that with these changes it will be more difficult to meet all the requirements of the system to be eligible to cure. 😅
