My reblog lottery ended a few days ago, and honestly, it was a lot of work tracking all of the entries for each time someone reblogged one of my posts. It got me great exposure and quite a few new followers, so it certainly was worth it.
That being said, I don't know that it's ideal long term. I'm looking for a balance somewhere, but I still want to make it worthwhile for everyone who participates.
Since my brain is pretty much out of ideas, I'm open to yours! What do you think would be a good giveaway idea that encourages people to re-blog my articles but doesn't involve keeping track of entries for a whole month? Shorten it and just do a weekly drawing? I want to hear your ideas! 😁

Daily would be far too much, weekly would be good until you get into bigger numbers of entries 100+. Could get a bit crazy but it's worth a try, I'm curious to the results.

If you want to go the easy path, you can let people say a certain word in the comments or just a comment, there are bots for doing so.
If you prefer to not have other bots / vultures which are snanning hive for such giveaways, than you could go for a reblog lottery. You can choose how long it runs. There are people running the lottery at post payout or 24h after being posted. I am not sure, but guess there would be bots for this as well.
If you prefer to have engagement, let people answer a certain question / post a picture in the comments /...
About the bots, I am not sure where you could exactly find them, if you don't program 'em yourself. 🙈
I was in this way of thinking too.
In case those bots are too well hidden, I would suggest 1 post a week that give "entries" to the reblog lottery.
That way all participants is in one place, one entry for each and fairly simple to keep track of.

Anyway, you're amazing for doing this but don't overdo it so that it becomes a daunting task and don't feel bad if you can't show up for a day or even week. It's a giveaway and people should appreciate it either way.

I think the idea of telling stories , short of course is still valid!
I would let the posts stand as content by u. I wouldn’t make every post an extra Game to win something. Do it once a week or something. I love running some game or contest posts myself, but when it’s every post where topic has nothing to do with game I dunno I just think it is prolly not read by many who reblog just to win and prolly skipped by others who would read who assume it’s spam even though it’s not.

An idea that doesn't involve documentation? why does that seem close to impossible? One way or another, you would still have to keep track of everyone involved.
