Hello friends, today I share with you my second post in the community. As last time today I bring you a new poem. In this case it is about destiny and the ability we all have to open its doors. I warn you in advance that I have written it in a way that everyone can give it a different meaning, according to their personality. See you in the next post.
You know I have searched in every corner,
the keys that open my own destiny,
the doors that I have closed along the way,
and those still in the dark. That if In my pockets I carry old keys,
rusted by promises and dreams that are withered,
I also have others, but they are golden, they shine almost like diamonds,
they are waiting for the moment to shine and I'm looking for something to open with them.
Other keys that I once had, I have lost them, in nights without stars,
they are lost amid doubts and fears,
but I've also found others, in tangled tangles
of roads I never thought I'd travel.
You know each lock keeps its own mystery,
whispering secrets to me in its cold metal,
they invite me to go on, without looking back,
with the promise of an uncertain future,
perhaps in those mysterious locks I should use my golden keys.
But sometimes those keys don't fit the first time, even if they are golden.
It turns with resistance, refuses to open,
but I insist, with the strength to live,
for I know that in the end all is revealed.
I have a bunch of keys in my heart,
some to leave pain and fear behind,
others to open the door to desire,
and some lost, that I still don't know how to use.
I know, I know and I know, that those keys, those of my destiny,
are waiting for my hands,
and although not all the doors are beautiful,
each step is my decision, and I go on. And you?
