Would the birds be searching for that tree
where they first built their nest?
Or would the infinite sky of flight
give the gift of forgetfulness?
Nature forgets.
Earth, sky, trees, flowers, birds
all create the new,
and sweep away the old
Nature has been granted the gift of forgetfulness
It relives the past for a moment and moves on
But we?
We are humans shaped by memories,
every touch, every sound,
every separation is etched on our souls like letters
Nature has been blessed with the gift of forgetfulness,
humanity has been blessed with the curse of memory
This same curse is the originator of art, of poetry,
of the restlessness to paint pictures,
of weaving stories
We are cursed to forget nothing
But this is also our blessing
For memories are the fire
that transforms us from the ordinary to the extraordinary,
that separates us from earth and sky,
and gives meaning to being human
Thank you so much for reading. Have a great day 😊🙏 @vikbuddy
