Vibes Web3 Music Competition - (wk8)- Don't Stop Believin

The Vibes Web3 week 8 is almost over, Infact I had thought I wouldn't be able to publish a post this week due to how distracted I have been.

I guess it happens sometimes when we get overwhelmed with thoughts and life generally that we lose concentration.

Anyways, I bring to you all my cover of 'Don't stop believin by Journey'.

For this cover, I plugged in my lavalier lapel microphone and used it for my recording which I had thought wasn't useful anymore. I was proved wrong today after I saw that the mic is still able to filter out a good amount of noise. When next I use the mic, I will make sure I sing directly to the mic without waving so much so that the sound being produced doesn't sound faded.

I enjoyed recordind this cover even though I made a lot of mistakes and had to re_record many.

I downloaded the instrumental of the song from Tubidy.mobi and then imported it in the Moises app where I made a little change so that I would be able to sing conveniently along with the instrument.

After recording my cover, I edited the instrumental with my vocal so they would sync.

The song "Don't Stop Believin" by Journey is centered around chasing after your aspirations and persevering, even in the face of hardships. The verses narrate the story of a small town girl and an city gentleman who depart from their modest beginnings to pursue a more prosperous life in the metropolis. Despite the obstacles they face, the tune motivates listeners to "cling to that sensation" and persist in pursuit of our ambitions.

This brings me to what I said about being distracted.... Everything in life is about moderacy. Even though thoughts distracts me for a while, I should be able to bring myself back to reality. I don't have to stop believing in myself, my goals, ambitions and stuff life that.
