VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION //HOW @BRENIQUE ATTRACTED THE AUDIENCE WITH GOOD SOUND AND SPIRIT// (REVIEW)
Hello and good day to everyone. I am @oluthomas on Hive, and I welcome you once again to my blog.
Have you ever listened to something so deep and powerful that it feels like you’re hearing voices inside, or even speaking to yourself yet you can’t fully explain what’s happening? You just know something has shifted within you. That’s exactly how I felt listening to @brenique’s performance.
It was more than just a normal presentation or performance; it touched me on a spiritual level. From the moment she started singing and backing it up with the guitar, I felt something powerful. Honestly, I didn’t even know she could play the guitar. This is my first time listening to her, and I must say, she did amazingly well.
First of all, when she began with her intro, I noticed her voice was thick, and I was expecting a deep, strong delivery from her but she went beyond my expectations. The way her voice blended with the guitar was so balanced and beautiful. I was so carried away by her technique that I honestly wished she would repeat "Lord, I Give You My Heart" two or three times, just so I could sing along with her.
But then she smoothly and beautifully transitioned into the second song, "This is the Air I Breathe." And to be honest, both songs flowed naturally together, the shift was calm and soft, and the spirit of the worship remained the same.
Secondly, I noticed she has a unique way of adjusting herself, even when the key doesn’t seem convenient. I don't know if I was the only one feeling that way. Yet, the sound remained loud, clear, and soothing full of melody. She knows how to find her place and stay in control vocally.
Her vocal technique is different, not too much of riffs and runs, but just enough to add the right touch to her performance. Just like how we use spices in food, not too much, but just enough to bring out the taste. That's how she used her vocal skills: simple, yet sweet and powerful.
One of the parts I love most is how prepared she came. She sounded like someone ready for a spiritual battle or came to worship her maker. While listening to her, I began to feel broken and drawn into worship. The way she played the guitar sounded so professional and clean, no extra noise, no stress, yet the sound coming out was rich and powerful.
