The game starts at the beginning of the outbreak. Where Joel and his daughter try to escape. The attempted escape ends in tragedy. 20 years later, Joel is tasked to smuggle Ellie across town to the Fireflies, not knowing why. It turns out Ellie is immune and the Fireflies need her to make a cure for the infection
I like that videogame although I never played it. The cut scenes where pretty popular. When the HBO show came, I really enjoyed the episodes. Great franchise.
Awesome idea! Never thought about creating a movie just from the cutscenes of a game but it's definitely a smart one!
