Hey everyone, so I found out about this game through @demotruk and it reminded me a lot about Heroes of Might and Magic 2+3 and maybe a little bit of Civilization which I haven't played that much. I was bummed out that the Heroes franchise kind of went down the drain and each new game kept on getting worse cause it was one of the first games I ever played on the PC when I was young. I'm not usually into these kind of games but I guess Heroes kind of got my interest to try this out so I purchased it on Steam and pretty much just launched it, fixed up the settings, and started recording.
I also tried to fix the mic a bit so you wouldn't be able to hear the ambiance and keyboard too much, it might not be perfect yet and sometimes maybe cut off my own voice but I think it might be a bit better than before, let me know what you think.
Don't really have a lot more to say about it here in text than what I did in the video, time flew by really fast and the only reason I stopped at 1.5h of recording was due to a glitch that made the game crash. xD

Haha I was just watching my friend play this last night streaming on discord while composing my latest post.
He was having a blast and was having a tough time with the battles that happened in certain regions (like the water?)
I didn’t even notice the mic settings and background noise so the levels were great.
My gaming seems to come in waves over the years. Something I love and play too much ends up getting tired eventually and I avoid a style of genre. Then, one pops up down the road and I am back in enjoying it like it was new.
The top down turn based strategy games haven’t been my thing predominantly but that one looks like it has some elements of other styles that complement well.
They say that if you don’t grow up by a certain age, you don’t have to! Hopefully never stopping gaming has brought me to that point!

I've been playing it since launch and I have an asynchronous game going with my friend the last few days. It would be great if we could get some people to try an asynchronous game via Hive.

But yeah, ur mic sounds pretty good. Did you record a vid with voice before? I didn't even know D: if you're using OBS there are plenty of filters to use for ur mic.
Tbh this isn't my type of game so I'll just pass for now T_T i saw u were playing Hades so that's pretty cool, nice to see u playing some stuff. You should try games likes our man straw, dunno, maybe you could have fun with stuff like Alien Isolation :P
Love this kind of game, recently I played a bit of Frostpunk I love that game!!!, I will check this one the graphic style is really good.
STOP! I'm so addicted to this game, and I don't even have it. I've been watching all the Let's Plays on Youtube (Quill18, PotatoMcWhiskey, etc.), I can't have enough!

It's a turn-based game. It sounds interesting, it's a bit complex for me, I guess I can get used to it as I play. It must be a good game if it kept you on the screen for 1.30 hours :P

My brain always goes to "Age of Empires" whenever I read a title that says "Age of"...and then I saw the video and the mental resemblance went through the roof lol
