Although many do not like it, for me it is a good game

Today I want to talk about an RPG-style game, which has both good and bad aspects, nothing in this world is perfect, but, it is worth playing. When I played it for the first time I was in the time where I wanted to know and play several types of games to know which genre I liked the most. This was the only RPG game I played because of the turn-based fighting, something that I found very curious... When I bought it I realized when I opened it that it came with 4 black CDs, something peculiar that I had not seen before and I quickly thought it was going to belong, I said to myself: I hope it's worth it... I went home as always excited hahaha for the new game, I was eager to play it because by that time I had not played anything like it and it would be interesting to discuss it with my friends.

This game is very different from what I had played before, it leaves that futuristic world feeling combining technology and magic in a kind of university or school that they called Gardens where I saw kids here and there studying, training and socializing with each other, you know, at the time I said I wish there was a place like that hahaha, of course, I still didn't know what it was all about, only what I had seen in the first sequence, you can see how Squall and Saifer, who are two of the main characters, were fighting, that cinematic for me was very exciting, it was brutal, I liked how the two showed their fighting skills and what was coming.

In the story, I could appreciate a romance between Squall and Rinoa, kind of like Romeo and Juliet. I began to know the personalities of each of them and the other characters who are Zell who I remember was very crazy, Selphie, Irvine, and Saifer being the latter who takes more prominence, apart from love, friendship, companionship, revenge, and betrayal. Among them, the action was not left behind when the missions begin where he used swords-type guns that wow are spectacular. The fights blow by blow and using magic to fight different enemies I can not leave behind, yes, I had to learn a lot about their magic and elements, because in reality there are many that we must combine such as pyro, cure, water, Lazarus, aero, brake, and others, that if I became tedious and complicated, I said: I wish Harry Potter could help me with this hahaha. If they had minimized the number of types of elements and spells, for me it would have been better, the gameplay wouldn't have been so heavy in that part.

In the gardens, the characters graduate from seeds, which are a kind of warriors and mercenaries whose mission is to fight for peace, justice and also to eliminate monsters and witches. The drama of this game goes beyond just the hard romance between Squall and Rinoa which we must save many times, you have to fight monsters to level up, there are also some entities or gods called Guardian Force that I could invoke to help me when a fight was difficult, they seemed incredible and monumental hahaha, this gives the game another positive point, with this I forgot the stupid turn-based fights something that I did not like at all, I found it very boring ... The Guardian Force that I liked the most are Shiva and Diablo are phenomenal in all aspects, I enjoyed every time I summoned them and saw how they used their powers, I had a lot of fun with them.

Something that I also loved is that being in the Garden you could navigate the entire map as if you were in a kind ship, I decided where I wanted to go to explore, actually I liked it because I could meet other very unique places for their structures and designs, and there I found side quests that I said whether to do them or not.

Concerning the graphics are very good, all those details both inside and outside the garden look fantastic, trees, halls, corridors, training area, etc. Everything is very colorful and metallic, it attracted my attention and I was not disappointed, it makes me want to explore everything and continue learning. The soundtrack is excellent, they set each scene, all the sounds for me were spectacular, they gave more attraction to the romantic scenes, action, and moments of exploration.

Finally, I can say that Final Fantasy VIII has very good sequences and stunning graphics that leave us amazed with their environment, accompanied by an incredible soundtrack that make you like the game, without leaving behind the action that makes you feel like in a movie and novel in addition to the drama and romance between its protagonists, something negative is the way to fight in turn and is exhausting when combining so many magics and elements, this takes away much to the gameplay. So far is the only RPG game I've played and in my point is what I can say.

Aunque a muchos no le gusto, para mí es un buen juego

Hoy quiero hablar de un juego de estilo RPG, que tiene tanto buenos como malos aspectos, nada en este mundo es perfecto, pero, merece la pena jugarlo. Cuando lo juegue por primera vez estaba en el tiempo donde quería conocer y jugar varios tipos de juegos para así saber que genero me gustaba más. De hecho este fue el único juego RPG que jugué por la forma de pelea por turno, algo que me pareció muy curioso... Cuando lo adquirí me di cuenta al abrirlo que traía 4 CD de color negro, algo peculiar que no había visto antes y pensé rápidamente que iba a ser largo, me dije a mi mismo: ojalá valga la pena... Fui a casa como siempre emocionado jajaja por el nuevo juego, estaba deseoso de jugarlo porque para ese momento no había jugado algo parecido y sería interesante debatir sobre él con mis amigos.

Este juego es muy diferente a lo que había jugado anteriormente, deja esa sensación de mundo futurístico combinando tecnología y magia en una especie de universidad o escuela que ellos llamaban Jardines donde vi chicos por aquí y por allá estudiando, entrenando y socializando entre ellos, saben, en el momento dije ojalá existiera un lugar así jajaja, claro todavía no sabía de qué trataba todo, solo lo que había visto en la primera secuencia, se ve como Squall y Saifer que son dos de los personajes principales, se peleaban, esa cinemática para mí fue muy emocionante, fue brutaal, me gusto como los dos demostraban sus habilidades de pelea y de lo que se venía.

En la historia pude apreciar un romance entre Squall y Rinoa, una especie de romeo y Julieta. Empece a conocer las personalidades de cada uno de ellos y de los otros personajes que son Zell que recuerdo que era muy loco, Selphie, Irvine y Saifer siendo este último quien toma más protagonismo, aparte del amor, la amistad, el compañerismo, venganza y traición. Entre ellos la acción no se quedó atrás cuando comienzan las misiones donde usaba espadas tipo pistolas que guau son espectaculares. Las peleas golpe a golpe y empleando magia para combatir a diferentes enemigos no las puedo dejar atrás, eso sí, tuve que aprender mucho sobre su magia y elementos, porque en realidad son muuchos los que debemos combinar como por ejemplo él piro, cura, agua, lázaro, aero, freno y otros, que eso si se me volvió tedioso y complicado, decía: ojalá Harry Potter me pudiera ayudar con esto jajaja. Si hubiesen minimizado la cantidad de tipos de elementos y hechizos, para mí hubiese sido mejor, no se me hubiese hecho tan pesada la jugabilidad en esa parte.

En los jardines los personajes se gradúan de seeds, los cuales son una especie de guerreros y mercenarios que tienen la misión de luchar por la paz, la justicia y también eliminar a monstruos y brujas. El drama de este juego va más allá de solo el duro romance entre Squall y Rinoa la cual debemos salvar muchas veces, hay que combatir monstruos para ir subiendo de nivel, también se cuenta con unas entidades o dioses llamados Guardian Force que podía invocar para que me ayudaran cuando una pelea se me hacía difícil, me parecían increíbles y monumentales jajaja, esto le da al juego otro punto positivo, con esto se me olvidaba las estúpidas peleas por turno algo que no me gusto para nada, me pareció muy aburrido... Los Guardian Force que más me gustaron son Shiva y Diablo son fenomenales en todos sus aspectos, disfrutaba cada vez que los invocaba y veía como usaban sus poderes, me divertí mucho con ellos.

Algo que también me encanto es que estando en el Jardín se podía navegar por todo el mapa, como si estuviera en una especie de nave, decidía a donde quería ir para explorar, en realidad me gusto porque pude conocer otros lugares muy únicos por sus estructuras y diseños, y allí encontraba misiones secundarias que yo decía si hacerlas o no.

Con respectos a las gráficas son muy buenas, todos esos detalles tanto dentro como fuera del jardín se ven fantástico, los árboles, los salones, los pasillos, el área de entrenamiento, etc. Todo muy pintoresco y metalizado, me atrajo mucho la atención de verdad que no me decepciono, dan ganas de explorar todo y seguir conociendo. La banda sonora es excelente, ambientan cada escena, todos los sonidos para mí eran espectacular, le daban más atracción a las escenas románticas, acción y momentos de exploración.

Por último puedo decir que Final Fantasy VIII cuenta con secuencias muy buenas y gráficas impactantes que nos dejan maravillado con su entorno, acompañada de una banda sonora increíble que hacen que el juego te guste, sin dejar atrás la acción que te hace sentir como en una película y novela además del drama y romanticismo entres sus protagonistas, algo negativo es la forma de pelear por turno y es agotador a la hora de combinar tantas magias y elementos, esto le quita mucho a la jugabilidad. Hasta hora es el único juego RPG que he jugado y en mi punto personal es lo que puedo decir.
