Another game that I had forgotten is Vendetta or Crime Fighters 2 an arcade fighting game that has fascinated millions of children in the 90's. I remember well the game room of the bar under the house that had the videogame was always packed with children who alternated in the fighting.
Un altro gioco che avevo dimenticato è Vendetta o Crime Fighters 2, un picchiaduro arcade che ha affascinato milioni di bambini negli anni '90. Ricordo bene la sala giochi del bar sotto casa che aveva il videogioco era sempre gremita di bambini che si alternavano nei combattimenti.
It was possible to play a maximum of two players, on a choice of 4 characters, each expert in martial arts or street fighting. I personally loved Blood, for his cool appearance with sunglasses, an expert in boxing and therefore very strong in punching. Others players are: Hawk, who is very reminiscent of the wrestling wrestler Hulk Hogan, Boomer and Sledge, the latter instead is very reminiscent of Mr T from the famous 80s TV series, A-Team.
Era possibile giocare un massimo di due giocatori, su una scelta di 4 personaggi, ciascuno esperto di arti marziali o combattimento di strada. Personalmente ho adorato Blood, per il suo aspetto cool con gli occhiali da sole, esperto di boxe e quindi molto forte nei pugni. Altri giocatori sono: Hawk, che ricorda molto il wrestler di wrestling Hulk Hogan, Boomer e Sledge, quest'ultimo invece ricorda molto il signor T del famosa serie TV degli anni '80, A-Team.
The story tells of the fight between clans in the city of Dead End City and the 4 boys of the Cobras gang engaged in facing the enemy clan who kidnapped a Cobras member girl. The story takes place on levels, at the end of each one there is the boss to deal with, getting stronger as you progress in the narration. Eventually the 4 guys will have to face the opposing clan leader, Faust and finally free Kate!
La storia racconta della lotta tra i clan nella città di Dead End City e i 4 ragazzi della banda dei Cobras sono impegnati nell'affrontare il clan nemico che ha rapito una ragazza dei Cobras. La storia si svolge su 5 livelli più un livello extra, alla fine di ognuno c'è il boss con cui confrontarsi, che diventa sempre più forte man mano che si procede nella narrazione. Alla fine i 4 ragazzi dovranno affrontare il leader del clan avversario, Faust e finalmente liberare Kate!
This is a sliding game so you have to face a certain number of opponents before advancing and continuing to the next scene. During the fights it is possible to use objects found on the street: garbage cans, glass bottles, pipes, Molotov cocktails, guitars, chains and more. Weapons are a good combat tool but overall they damage slower than characters' martial arts combo. The characters are mostly thugs who very much remind me of the villains of Hokuto No Ken, a manga and anime that I keep in my heart.
Si tratta di un gioco a scorrimento quindi bisogna affrontare un certo numero di avversari prima di avanzare e proseguire alla scena successiva. Durante i combattimenti è possibile utilizzare oggetti che si trovano per strada: bidoni della spazzatura, bottiglie di vetro, tubi, molotov, chitarre, catene e non solo. Le armi sono un buon strumento di combattimento ma nel complesso danneggiano più lentamente rispetto alla combo di arti marziali dei personaggi. I personaggi sono per lo più teppisti che molto mi ricordano i cattivi di Hokuto No Ken, un manga e anime che conservo nel cuore.
A game that made us all dream and that has transformed us several times into fake fighters and improvised martial arts experts. I really have many good memories because my brother and I often played with it, he was older than me, and he punctually poured the adrenaline on me, to the sounds of martial art strikes. 🤣 Long live Arcade games
Un gioco che ci ha fatto sognare tutti e che ci ha trasformati più volte in finti combattenti ed esperti improvvisati di arti marziali. Conservo davvero molti bei ricordi perchè io e mio fratello ci giocavamo spesso, lui più grande di me, e puntualmente riversava l'adrenalina su di me, a suoni di colpi d'arte marziale 🤣 Lunga vita ai giochi Arcade
