PlayStation gamers have a new reason to brag 🗣🎙

If you weren't already aware, PlayStation just changed how PS Plus works. This is the answer to Xbox's Game Pass. Finally, PS has listened to the community and given us a monthly subscription option that includes a catalog of high-quality PS4 and PS5 games, plus some classics too if you're into that.

In today's video, I will be discussing everything that you need to know about the 3 new PS Plus Tiers (Essential, Extra, and Premium). Each one will attract a different type of person, but all three remain great options. I will also be talking about my personal favorite games that I am most excited to now have access to.

You can find out more on https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ps-plus/, but I promise to provide you with loads of good info and entertainment in this one.

I hope that you enjoy the video. Let me know your thoughts about the new PS Plus. Did you upgrade? If not, why not? Do you see yourself changing your mind in the future? I'm ready to talk about any and everything PlayStation in the comments, see you there.

Stay tuned for my next video where I will be talking about the games that I think should be added to PS Plus in the future. There are quite a few great options as is such as Demon's Souls, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Returnal, but there is always room for more and the list will be updated regularly.

I just subscribed to PS Plus Extra just to download Demons Souls 😅
I only saw a very quick summary of their differences when I did.
Thanks for this explanation and the games you mentioned. Might check them out (if I won't ran out of storage lol)

By the way, I kept looking at your surroundings. Nice place!

You enjoying Demon’s Souls so far? I think it’s great, but pretty difficult to advance. Storage is a major issue for me, I haven’t upgraded my PS5 SSD yet, I’m somehow managing (lots of deleting and redownloading). Take note that Japan and USA have some slight differences in the membership I believe. There may be some games that are region exclusive, I’m not too sure which though.

I appreciate you commenting. I see you live in Tokyo, a place I have always thought was so cool. I’ve yet to visit, but I think reading your blogs in the future will allow me to get a closer look at what it is like to be in Japan.

I only played for a an hour or so after I downloaded the other day. RL stuff happened but so far, it's a great game. I just don't think I'm doing it right 😂 I mean, I have no idea what I'm doing. 😂 But overall it's fun. Might play later again. How was it for you?

I haven't bought additional storage actually, so I can't download a lot of games. Want to buy one soon. So hard to manage storage, right?

Yeah, I think the games are region exclusive. I got Red Dead Redemption here, dunno if you have it there. Probably some other titles too, still need to check more. When I found out about Demon's Souls, I was only focusing on that and ignored everything else. 😂

Thanks for visiting my page. I keep sharing about Japan so maybe when you visit, you'll have an idea where you wanna go.

I've got about 1 or 2 hours into the game so far as well. I went with the Knight and realize now how slow the armor makes me when rolling. I've been playing so many others, difficult to juggle all of them due to time and storage space.

We did get Red Dead Redemption 2, but I already had it. The online multiplayer for that always looked fun to me, but it is such an incredibly deep and long game and I just never got into it. Loved the first one and beat it at least.

Oh, you went with Knight. I'll take note of that making slow. 😅
I went with the Magician, I think. I forgot what I chose. LOL

There are just so many good games but can't download all of them because of storage limitations. 😞

We also got Red Dead Redemption 2 before, actually still have the disc but my partner insists on downloading it. He wants to play it in Japanese. The disc we got is in english, it's difficult for him to understand old english. 😅

Maybe magician is actually called Royal, I forget if they are two separate classes or not.

If your partner prefers Japanese, then he is surely happy to finally have RDR2 digitally. That’s a chunky game though, goodbye to a large portion of the storage 😫

I'll probably look into buying storage. 😂

Have fun with Demon’s Souls man. The Artful Escape is a great one as well and I think you will enjoy it. I was pretty stoned when I played through it and it was amazing. Loved the music and the whole journey.

On a side note, I can tell you have been working out. Your shoulders are pretty jacked in the video. Keep it up homie.

I've been trying to play an hour of a bunch of games and find out which ones seem most worth sinking a lot of time into. I didn't really like The Artful Escape, not for me. Werewolf Apocoplyse was lame. Shadow Warrior 3 is pretty freaking awesome though! So many others to try too.

Except the price on this thing is bonkers. Xbox is still wayyy cheaper.

Sony is selling their “exclusives” to pc so their uniqueness is fading away.

There really isn't much of a difference. Xbox has $10 and $15 per month options. PlayStation is offering a $10, $15, and $17 option. Sure you have to get the $15 Extra for PS Plus to get access to the library of games, but that is beyond worth it to me.

And, I had another question.
I am tempted to get the Ps plus Extra, but will I be able to play the games that I would claim through the extra by the normal ps plus.

I think what you are asking me is “If I download a game with Extra and then drop back down to Essential, will I still have access to those games?”

The answer is no. You lose access, just like you lose access to the free monthly PS Plus games when your subscription runs out.

You can however do game share with someone who you trust to login with your account and you theirs. This means you could split the cost of a membership 50/50 if you have a friend willing to do it.

Gaming has always been and will be an expensive hobby 😂 To keep talking.
Have a nice day 🙂

The cost to game is more than worth it to me.

yay! that's some great new for all the PS lovers out there. u know any of those?? :P

Oh I know a few 😉
