About Dcity
Dcity is mathematical and trading game based on non fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build they own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in form of hive(based on ranking) and SIM token(based on city income). There are also cards that player can get only from playing game like technologies, backgrounds.
3rd edition release dates
- April 21: new UI release
- April 24: stats tab
- April 27: explorer tab
- April 28-29: 3rd Pass access to 3rd edition printer
- April 30: 3rd release for everyone
After release
Sustainability
In the first 2 months after 3rd edition release players should expect changes in governance. Building options in lobby (hive sign, law firm) will be changed with:
- decrease income tax option, max 10%
- % of hive pool for daily ranking rewards, max 1
- max for holding rewards will be increased to 200 hive
The overall effect of these changes should be a decrease in daily hive rewards for ranking, giving the game account more time to generate profits from curation and vote dcity content.
Another important thing will be a new voting table for ranking rewards distribution between 5 attributes = multiple rankings.
After this change more accounts should be earning hive rewards, and less hive will go to 0 income cities.
Also this should increase value of SIM as a governance token controlling distribution of rewards.
We still have a month to discuss it on discord before creating the final version.
New combined buildings
2 weeks after the 3rd edition release we should publish information about the next combined building that will replace Central Bank as time limited building. The new building will be limited in the same way like central bank. The new building can only be created for a month.

The new UI looks great but I don't see "Population or Popularity" listed anywhere obvious on the screen. I'm assuming thats SIM Income listed in the upper right.
Having the (P.P.I) listed in the "Black dot" in the center was super helpful especially when people would post a screenshot of their city.
Lots of useful information in those 3 numbers.

I very much like these changes! Especially the revision in Hive ranking mechanism is extremely welcome.
The only comment I really have is about this post. I found it in my feed on Leofinance, but I couldn't easily find it on your main page at Peakd. Perhaps there is a way to make sure that all DCity posts are consistently spread across both platforms, instead of some being in one corner and some being in another?

The jury is still out on the new cards, but high praise on the redistribution of ranking rewards. I felt like this was unrealistic and caused a skew in how the game was played in order to be rewarded.
Where is the Stats and Explorer Tab? Where is the new UI?
