Trick or Treat Adventure Mode

Dive into the spooky nights of dCrops with the new game mode - the Trick or Treat Adventure! Meet your neighbors; some are friendly and offer treats, while others might ask for something in return. Choose up to 10 items to carry on your journey, and use them wisely to win over the tricksters you encounter.

With every successful persuasion, continue your spooky adventure; stumble, and your journey ends there. It's a test of courage and wit; how far can you go?

How it works?

Each round begins with a 50-50 chance for treats or tricks. However, with every passing round, the chance for a trick increases by 1%, while the chance for a treat decreases by 1%.

There is an entry fee of 250 CROP tokens. You can take 10 items with you to "persuade" the tricksters. At the end of each round, you get rewards.

You will encounter trick rounds, where your neighbors will ask for a random item of a specific share value. You can use the items you selected to win them over. If you are successful, you get rewards but if you fail, your adventure ends and you forfeit all rewards as well as any of your remaining items.

Adventure Rewards

You can earn candies for every successful round. The amount of candies you earn is a random number as follows:

Minimum = round_number + 5 + 1
Maximum = round_number*round_number + 10

Thus as you progress further and further, the amount of candies you get increases exponentially!

There is also an overpay bonus. If the ask is for a Potato worth 20 shares and you only have items worth 100 shares. When you use the 100 share value item, you will get 30%-80% of the remaining value i.e 30% to 80% of 80 Shares. This bonus will only trigger if the overpay amount is more than at least 10 shares and you are only using 1 item during that round.

Additional Rewards

That's not all. There are other items you can get as you progress further into your adventure.

The chance to get a bonus reward is equal to your round number.

The following bonus items can be found in your adventure, each requiring you to reach a specific round to unlock:

Golden Ticket: Reach at least round 5 for a chance to earn 1 Golden Ticket.
Salt: Reach at least round 4 for a chance to earn 1 Salt.
Pepper: Reach at least round 4 for a chance to earn 1 Pepper.
CROP: Reach at least round 5 for a chance to earn 10 CROP Tokens.
Mystery Seed: Reach at least round 4 for a chance to earn 1 Mystery Seed.
Speed-Gro: Reach at least round 3 for a chance to earn 1 Speed-Gro.
Ferti-Plus: Reach at least round 2 for a chance to earn 1 Ferti-Plus.
Reward Chest ++: Reach at least round 5 for a chance to earn 1 Reward Chest ++ having 5 reward items.
Gas: Reach at least round 1 for a chance to earn 25 Gas.

Special Effects

If you are lucky enough to get asked for an item that you have selected, one of the 4 effects below will be triggered.

• Return Item: Allows you to retrieve one of the given items.
• Revive: Provides a revival if a trick causes failure during your current adventure.
• Bonus Candy: Grants you an additional 100 candies.
• Treat Guaranteed: Ensures a guaranteed treat in the next round.

Each special effect adds a fun twist, making your Halloween Harvest adventure on dCrops a tale filled with magic, mystery, and good fortune.

Daily Raffle Extravaganza

As you venture through the Trick or Treat Adventure mode, you're also earning entries into the daily raffle. There are a total of 100 ALPHA Packs, 210 BETA packs, 100 Ghost Peppers, 20 Cemetery, and 20 Jack-o-Lanterns up for grabs.

Each day, 15 random winners will be selected based on their highest score for the day. Every point in your score grants you an entry into the daily raffle. Each winner will get 1 random prize from the pool.

The score is meticulously calculated as follows:

• Your score starts at zero and increases by one with every round you successfully complete.
• Halloween Candy collected during your adventure contributes to your total candy count as per the following formula:

score = log10(candies) * ln(10) * 1.3

• Special rewards like "Golden Ticket" and "Reward Chest ++" further boost your score. You get 2 points for each of these items you encounter during your run.

• You also get a score boost by being efficient. You get Candies Earned / Total Shares Taken added to your score. You can get a maximum of +5 score this way.

Other Ways to earn candies

You can also earn candies by playing the game normally. Some game actions have a 75% chance to net you a varying amount of candies. The rest 25% of the time, you'll get 1 candy.
