Might and Magic is known for having some quite bizarre endings. While I was still quite a way away from it. There were hints I was working closer and closer to it. It all started when I decided to explore one of the first pyramids I had seen.
A while back now I had looted a pyramid key. I however never bothered to go into one of them. These pyramids were always quite out of place for the areas they were in. From my experiences with other Might and Magic games, I kind of figured these would end up being both strange and higher-level areas.

The moment I walked in I knew what I had suspected had to be at least somewhat true. No longer was in a cave or underground building. There was metal flooring, walls, and a ceiling. I was now on a ship.
While there are five pyramids in total. I would not need to end up talking to all of them on the outside. As I'd quickly learn many of them appeared to be connected to each other. I started in the section called Storage.

At first, this place was filled with things like Phase Heads that I've seen in dungeons. I’d end up coming across some robots guarding this place as well. You would think magic, swords, and arrows would be no match for a robot. Thankfully that ended up not being the case. They were difficult to take down.
I kind of got the feeling this place was bigger than I was expecting. Once in a while as I was walking along, I'd get a message that would indicate I just zoned. I’d pop open the map and sure enough, I was no longer in the Storage section of the ship.
This place was also quite loaded with loot and information. I ended up finding several Ultimate Power Orbs in here. I would end up turning them into the king of good for 1 million experience per character per orb. I had a funny feeling there were even more orbs than I found. I just could not get to them for the time being.
There were also quite a lot of different statues. When speaking to them they were not just giving me riddles I'd need to solve. They were telling me the answers to riddles. One could almost mistake this place as one giant cheat code. It however was not.

A few of these I'd end up writing down. Some of them even gave me answers to places I've been stuck on. I’d after leaving this place go quickly finish off any of those. I was also getting some answers to places I had not been. While I'd end up writing a few of them down. I’d hold off on using such information if I could unless I got stuck.
There were also these strange vacuum tube things. One of them would end up taking me back to the surface. Another one seemed to be broken. Then there was one that sent me to an arena.
I had no idea there was even an arena I could go and fight monsters in for experience. I’m also not shocked by this either. There was one in Might and Magic IV and perhaps in the other ones, I've played but never made it to that part of the game. I at least now knew I could teleport into the arena by telling any of the portals “arena.”
After killing a couple of towns in the arena (I'll be doing lots of rounds at a later point in time.) I ended up having to walk back to the pyramid. Then back to the point where I was taken away from the zone. Once you beat a round in the arena you get teleported to the town of Fountain Head.

I’d also come across a couple of these. I was half expecting them to be traps but they were not. You can tell there is some kind of robot. Since the little lizard on the right hand of the screen was not waving its arms. I assumed incorrectly that I could not just get through it in some manner. I’d shortly later return here and discover that they were hard to break down the metal walls. This was leading me to another section of the ship itself.
There were also quite a lot of crystals that once you interact with them granted you a spell. I would end up coming to some real dead-end rooms that had many in them. Often, they would be stuff my main casters already had. For those moments my paladin could also learn the great spell. As spells were far more expensive on him than say my cleric to just buy. Not that I was lacking in gold at this point as had millions of gold sitting in the bank.
This place also offered rewards in ways I would not be aware of. When speaking with one of the crystal skulls I was expecting to get some more answers to random puzzles. Instead, I was asked for a password.
Since I've played some Might and Magic games in the past, I knew somewhere there should be a way to remove the artificial aging my characters sometimes get when hit by certain creatures or interacting with certain objects.
Out of pure dumb luck, I thought I'd enter in a certain word. Sure, enough that was the correct password. It also gave me a hint of where I'd find the fountain to drink from. So I left the ship in search of the fountain.

It was a bit off shore but since I knew it was on an island I explored around a bit till I found it. Once I drank from it my party woke up days later and washed onto a close by shoreline. All of the artificial aging on them had been removed. I no longer have to worry about acts that will unnaturally age my characters. I now have a way to cure it. While this won’t cure true old age if I ever end up playing this game for that long. It at least solved something before it became quite a huge issue.
Final Thoughts

I ended up returning to the ship and kept exploring as long as I could. There were still quite a few more walls I could break down. More robots to fight. More things to find.
I was kind of hoping to find some crazy OP weapons inside. So far, I have not had any luck on that front. Granted I was not expecting to find all the answers to the different riddles in the game like I did either.
There came a point where I came to another wall. I could tell it was another one that I should have been able to break down. After a good fifty attempts or so. It was still standing. I kind of figured there would be a point where I'd have to try entering some of the other pyramids to get elsewhere onto the ship.
For now, I've hit a bit of a dead-end on my adventure on this ship. I decided it would be best to go back out adventuring outside of the ship. With plan to return once again once I have gained a lot more strength for taking walls out. Along with some higher damage output for dealing with the robots. As I can only suspect there must be far harder challenges waiting for me inside of the ship.
