Nowadays in the video game industry is quite common to see remasters or remakes of old games or games that already have a couple of years of having been released, it is something that we are already used to, and I would say that it is a trend that even annoys a little, but still we consume them, and it is quite normal, who will not be surprised to see Resident Evil 2 recreated from scratch, after 20 years since the game was released, obviously everyone wanted it and it was spectacular, there are times when it is very well that a game has a remake to give a facelift to the game, and not only that, the normal thing in a remake is that they change for example mechanics or something around, in the case of remakes like those of Resident Evil to give an example, but then there are others who simply make the same game but with very different graphics.
En la actualidad de la industria de los videojuegos es bastante común ver remasters o remakes de juegos antiguos o que ya tienen un par de años de haber sido lanzados, es algo a lo que ya estamos acostumbrados, y diría que es una tendencia que ya hasta molesta un poco, pero aun así los consumimos, y es bastante normal, a quien no le va a llamar la atención ver recreado desde cero Resident Evil 2, después de 20 años de que el juego fue lanzado, obviamente todo el mundo lo quería y fue espectacular, hay veces que está muy bien que un juego tenga un remake para darle un lavado de cara al juego, y no solo eso, lo normal en un remake es que cambien por ejemplo mecánicas o alguna cosa por ahí, en el caso de los remakes como los de los Resident Evil por poner un ejemplo, pero luego están otros que simplemente hacen el mismo juego pero con gráficos muy distintos.

Hasta hace unos pocos días leí una noticia en una de estas páginas de la prensa de videojuegos, que son bastante tóxicas como ya saben, pero las utilizo para enterarme de las cosas, el caso es que se oye un rumor de que Sony tiene un bombazo para este año, y todo apunta a que sea un remake de The Last of Us, y cuando yo leí eso, me quedé, bruh, literalmente, a mí me encanta el primer The Last of Us, pero me parece un juego que no necesita un remake, si iban a hacer un remake de un juego de PS3 le quedaba mejor uno al primer Uncharted, o podríamos hablar incluso de Resistance o algunos juegos más, la PS3 tiene juegos que sería bueno que tuvieran un remake de peso, The Last of Us es un juego que luce muy fresco a día de hoy, tanto en mecánicas como en gráficos, eso habla muy bien de lo que hizo Naughty Dog con aquel juego, es evidente que la desarrolladora que se encargaría del remake no sería la original, se rumorea The Last of Us 3, y ahí me quedé, bruh, de nuevo, el 2 me gustó, pero creo que tengo una corazonada con que Naughty Dog regrese a sus raíces.

Naughty Dog has been making shooters or third person action stories for a while now, like Uncharted or The Last of Us, since 2007 they have been dedicated only to this, in 15 years, and I think it's a wasted opportunity, because these people have shown us that they know how to make very good platform games, like Crash Bandicoot or Jak and Daxter, those are very good games and they did very well, I know that nowadays what people are looking for is realism and all this, but to me although I thought The Last of Us 2 was a good game, it seems to me that the game closed well to leave the franchise there, the same with Uncharted 4, it's about time they either create something new, or come back with platform games, I think it would be a good idea. Anyway, these people are very good at creating games and stories, they would have no problem making themselves something good, but I say that so that their games don't feel burnt out, like Uncharted or The Last of Us.
Naughty Dog desde hace rato que tienen creando juegos shooters o historias en tercera persona de acción, como Uncharted o The Last of Us, desde 2007 se han dedicado solo a esto, en 15 años, y creo que es una oportunidad desperdiciada, porque esta gente nos ha demostrado que saben hacer muy buenos juegos de plataformas, como Crash Bandicoot o Jak and Daxter, esos son juegos muy buenos y que les salieron muy bien, sé que en la actualidad lo que la gente busca es el realismo y todo esto, pero a mí aunque The Last of Us 2 me pareció un buen juego, me parece que el juego cerró bien para dejar la franquicia hasta ahí, lo mismo con Uncharted 4, ya es hora de que, o creen algo nuevo, o regresen con los juegos de plataformas, me parecería una buena idea. De todos modos, esta gente es muy buena creando juegos y historias, no tendrían ningún problema en hacerse algo bueno, pero lo digo para que no se sientan quemados los juegos de ellos, como Uncharted o The Last of Us.

I have a similar opinion with the remake that is going to be made of Resident Evil 4, I have my doubts because that game has very fantasy moments, it is not as realistic, if we can call it that, as the other games of the saga, which had more feet on the ground. In my opinion, the remake that should have been done regarding the Resident Evil saga is Code Veronica, to see what can come out of there, sounds strange and all, but I think that game could have a good facelift. Resident Evil 4 is a game that we have it everywhere, everyone has played it and surprisingly it has aged pretty well, that's why I think so, but still sure it will be very good game, I have no doubt.
Tengo una opinión parecida con el remake que se va a hacer de Resident Evil 4, tengo mis dudas porque ese juego tiene momentos muy fantasiosos, no es tan realista, si es que le podemos llamar así, como los otros juegos de la saga, que tenían más los pies sobre la tierra. En mi opinión, el remake que se debió de hacer en cuanto a la saga de Resident Evil es del Code Veronica, para ver que puede surgir de ahí, suena extraño y todo, pero creo que ese juego podría tener un buen lavado de cara. Resident Evil 4 es un juego que lo tenemos en todos lados, todo el mundo lo ha jugado y sorprendentemente ha envejecido bastante bien, por eso lo pienso así, pero igual seguro que estará muy bien el juego, no me cabe la menor duda.

That was a bit my opinion of the subject and this of remakes to modern games, something that seems to me half unnecessary with some games, I know that The Last of Us is almost 10 years old, but it is a game that does not feel so old, you could play it today perfectly and think it is a game that was released yesterday, it has aged very well, and I think this is unnecessary if they are really going to make one, hopefully not, anyway, we would all play it anyway, because The Last of Us is a very good game, but instead of doing that they could do something else, that's my opinion on the subject.
Eso era un poco mi opinión del tema y esto de los remakes a los juegos modernos, cosa que me parece medio innecesaria con algunos juegos, sé que The Last of Us tiene casi 10 años, pero es un juego que no se siente tan antiguo, lo podrías jugar hoy perfectamente y pensar que es un juego que se lanzó ayer, ha envejecido muy bien, y pues me parece innecesario esto si es que de verdad van a hacer uno, ojalá que no, igual de todos modos, todos lo jugaríamos, porque The Last of Us es un muy buen juego, pero en vez de hacer eso podrían hacer otra cosa, es mi opinión con respecto al tema.

they should concentrate on the last of us multiplayer which is still the most interesting multiplayer shoot 'em up out there.
