What is going on Hivers? There hasn’t been much new going on with me other than a hunting trip I have coming up. But there is something that I wanted to share with you guys, and that is my latest video game haul, and I think it is something that you guys would enjoy!
If you’ve been around my blog recently you might know that I’ve been trying to collect all of the Resident Evil Titles, and well, I’m almost there. A while back I ordered in Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil Dead Aim for the PS2, along with RE5 gold edition for the ps3, but I didn’t want to make a post just for those games so I waited until I got a bit more.

Si has visitado mi blog recientemente, sabrás que he estado intentando recopilar todos los títulos de Resident Evil y, bueno, ya casi lo he logrado. Hace un tiempo ordené Resident Evil 4 y Resident Evil Dead Aim para PS2, junto con RE5 Gold Edition para PS3, pero no quería hacer una publicación solo para esos juegos, así que esperé hasta tener un poco. más.
So the ps2 RE games I ended up picking up meant that I now have all the North American RE titles on the PS2 ( with the exception of cover variants.) But it was a bit after this that my OG Xbox got in, and I decided that it was time to take a break from my PS library and start building up the one for my OG xbox, so I had to think of what games I wanted to start off for my collection. I also wanted to make sure they would be enjoyable games to post about.
So what game did I start off with? Well it’s a little title called DarkWatch. Now I was late to joining the party for the game and never played it until the 360 era, but man, I fell in love with it right away. We play as Jericho Cross and after releasing the vampire, Lazarus, Jericho is turned into one of these creatures. He is recruited into the Darkwatch Organization and is tasked with hunting this creature down.

The story offers a morality system, where we can fall to desire and suck the blood out of innocents we find, or save them. This determines the ending of the game, and in all honesty is just awesome all the way through. So I can’t wait to play this game again as apart from it being awesome, I can’t remember much about it!

La historia ofrece un sistema moral, donde podemos caer en el deseo y chupar la sangre de los inocentes que encontramos, o salvarlos. Next up is a game I never played before but had heard nothing but good things about, and that is Jade Empire. I couldn’t even begin to tell you what this story was about other than it was developed by Bioware so I’m assuming the dialogue will be somewhat similar to SW KOTOR.

And speaking of KOTOR, I went ahead and picked up the first and second KOTOR for the xbox! I’ve beat KOTOR only twice, and never actually beat the second game. And although it is available for PC I prefer the original experience!

Lastly, there is Second Sight. Now Second Sight is one of those games that would just completely blow your mind. I first played this on GameCube, and man is it ever good. In it we play as an ex soldier who has supernatural powers that awakens in an asylum with no memory of the past.

Por último, está la Segunda Vista. Ahora Second Sight es uno de esos juegos que te dejarán completamente boquiabierto. Jugué esto por primera vez en GameCube y, hombre, siempre es bueno. En él jugamos como un ex soldado con poderes sobrenaturales que despierta en un manicomio sin recuerdos del pasado.
Throughout the game the main character, John, starts to get these flashbacks about what happened, and those flashbacks end up changing the present. The ending does see John dying in the present day, however his past self is able to change the future.

Now when it comes to this era of video games, I loved ones that involved vampires, mostly because I was a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So with Darkwatch bought I was wondering what other vamp titles I could buy. And then I remembered Bloodrayne. So I bought the first two games! These games are yet to come in!

Starting to feel old when games from my childhood have become retro.
Bahaha I know the feeling! The first time I heard someone refer to the xbox era as retro, I was like
I have very good memories of Resident Evil 4 and Star Wars, I had forgotten that "magical" effect of having the game in physical format, and the instruction manuals that came with the packaging. Thanks for sharing, it was very nostalgic.
There is something magical about it kinda like traveling back in time! And no problem!
Jade Empire is a great game. I am sure that you will enjoy it.
How can you go hunting when there are so many games to play?
Because I didn't go last year! xD. Me and my brother go on yearly trips but we were not able to go last year! Usually, we hunt for 2 days, and another 1 or 2 days for skinning and cutting the meat up!
