Arcade Colony:: Staking JUST Staking #COLONY Tokens - 103K+STAKED & Counting...

Hey All,

Its been a while that I talked about my status with the #COLONY tokens which is the main game token for the Arcade Colony is a platform that is augmenting Web2 games into Web3. My focus has been around building my stake here from day one when the #COLONY tokens were Airdropped to folks who had staked #SPS & #GLX tokens. Ever since I have been building my stake and right now position is that I have around 103K+ #COLONY tokens staked on the platform and recently I claimed 1.8K+ tokens which were again redirected to the staking pool. Here is how the overall picture of the COLONY tokens looks like::

Total Supply:: 296,273,898
Total Liquid::: 212,831,288
Total Staked::: 83,442,610

Calculating the percentage staked percentage_staked = (total_staked / total_supply) * 100. The percentage of total staked based on the total supply is approximately above 28% which is not bad and I am seeing this number grow slowly and gradually. Now lets have a look at my progress and what my plans are ahead for #COLONY token.

#COLONY Tokens - 103K+STAKED & Counting...

Just incase if you are not aware let me remind you that COLONY token has a supply of 21 Billion. And for Liquidity providers rewards there is a total of 2 Billion tokens kept aside to be distributed over 20 Years. DAO [Decentralized Autonomous Organization] has 2 Billion in its kitty where 1/4 of the tokens were available on the very first day and rest will be locked simultaneously over a period of 20 Years. So the potential to earn this tokens are many apart from playing different games being emerged on the Arcade Colony Platorm.. Right now one can earn COLONY by playing the game MOON KARTS - Race to galactic glory and where speed meets the cosmos. To be honest, I am targeting to buying 3COLONY tokens in bulk from the internal market. Right now one can buy 100K+ COLONY tokens for 136+ #HIVE and my target is to having 500K+ tokens. Which means I need to shed around 544+ #hive here and say my goal for the #COLONY tokens is achieved. The plan ahead would be to continue to stake all the rewards bein earned along with buying from the internal market at regular intervals. So from where do I get those 544+ #hive - well I plan to leverage my passive #hive earnings which is close to 25+ HIVE daily that I get via all the different sources. This would allow me to build my stake without having to pump in extra fiat and take advantage at a later stage when #colony token is in full swing. At current price the token is a stealer and if one can build and #hodl it for a longer term then I am sure there would be some decent amount of profit coming your way.
