I've been considering starting with this game since I saw it appear on NFTMART, but been hesitating until now. Here is my quick guide how to get started,
Register with your hive-wallet here, dCrops
Go to SHOP to buy packs directly from developer, with current price of 2 USD in Hive or 2000 CROP

Use BeeSwap for 0.25 % Hive & swap.hive deposits
Use Tribaldex to buy CROP
Opening packs is currently a bit glitchy... but...
you can check #open in their discord channel and ask questions there if it's not covered in their FAQ or wiki
When you got seeds and land, you can start planting them, by clicking on the empty spot.
If it's possible to plant seeds in land, they will show up as above.
For example, I am currently in winter season and only could plant Peas, Cabbage, Radish & Bell Pepper into AWESOME LAND plots.

CROP looks a bit expensive on the market for the 2USD to 2000 crop ratio, probably means I should plant some seeds too!
Yeah, noticed I could plant Radish in Fertile land now during winter season at least
