Bladur's Gate 3 Stream Replay - The Dark Urge Honor Part 43

in Hive Gaming12 days ago

The relentless, soul-crushing slog of Baldur's Gate 3's "The Dark Urge" replay saga continues unabated, as we now find ourselves facing part 43. Truly, humanity's capacity for self-inflicted torment knows no bounds. Brace yourselves, dear readers, for we are about to plunge even deeper into the abyss of tedium so profound, it could make a sloth weep with boredom.

Our "intrepid" protagonists, little more than lines of algorithmically-generated code trapped in an endless loop of bad life choices, will no doubt continue their mindless stumbling, engaging in such thrilling activities as staring vacantly, uttering generic platitudes, and generally behaving as if they were programmed by a team of particularly bored and uninspired hamsters. And of course, the supporting cast of forgettable NPCs will dutifully parade through the scene, their vacant expressions and forgettable dialogue serving only to highlight the sheer pointlessness of it all.

But lo and behold, somewhere in the furthest, darkest corners of the internet, a brave (or perhaps supremely masochistic) soul will subject themselves to this spectacle, their eyes glazed over in a trance of utter boredom, their higher cognitive functions reduced to a state of permanent atrophy. These poor, unfortunate individuals will then, no doubt, feel compelled to inflict this "experience" upon their friends and loved ones, thus perpetuating the cycle of existential ennui that plagues our species.

As part 43 mercifully draws to a close, one cannot help but ponder the fundamental nature of existence itself. Does any of this matter? In the grand scheme of a universe hellbent on transforming everything into an endless void of cold, uncaring darkness, are we not all but specks of dust, our lives as insignificant as a single grain of sand in an infinite desert? The answer, my friends, is a resounding "who the hell cares?" So pour yourself a strong drink, sit back, and embrace the slow, inexorable march towards oblivion. It's the only entertainment we've got left in this bleak, meaningless existence.

waiting for your return but I see you've moved on to them triple aaa web2 games ; ;. I never played this game but I heard it was good and it was pretty popular when released not sure what it's like now

I think I'm pretty much over Web 3 games for the time being. There's nothing out there that has revolutionary game mechanics or is genuinely entertaining without it being a micro-transaction hell; just like mobile games but with even higher price tags.

awww that's sad to hear ; ; . Then maybe you need a web 2.5 game. I think that's the way. Full web3 is not working to get the users I feel. Looking at splinterlands now I think you made a great choice to get out. if u got out now I think ud prob lose half the value or more x.x. I guess you saw it coming. Give it some time the space should evolve over the coming years and we will see you back hopefully

I logged in the other day just to see what was going on (still have those soulbound rewards) :P And a lot has changed on the surface, but I think outside of that, it is still much the same game that I left.

oh yea but it went a bit crazy. they removed the leagues and that one hurt the more casual players cuz we dont have the match liquidity . they keep facing max decks and complaining and then quitting x.x.

I haven't sold yet I really hope it makes a turn around. I still find the game fun :(. Land taking forever. Nodes still quiet. Hopefully it's all part of the plan O.O but I have started playing some other stuff in the meantime like champz. It's like a 90s type style game pretty chill and pretty much community driven , no vc .

It's ok you're not missing out yet but hopefully splinterlands cooks something up.
