Understanding the rules in DnD helped me better figure out how RPG Video Games equipment stats and how they affect the character. The entire rulebook is a giant foundation of gaming today!
I've only played a few games but I'll never forget the experience of playing it and the interactions with the table. In my opinion, Playing DnD is something any gamer should try at least once.

I have never played this type of board game, but I understand that it is the basis of the computer RPG games that I like so much. And I have the idea that if you come to love a game and learn so much from it, you can no longer get bored or tired, you can play it indefinitely.
Great write up about DnD. I wish mu groups had more time for DnD. These days we sit down to play video games instead because the bar is just lower to boot one up and get going. People need to stop having kids.
