Algo que tengo que mencionar es esa diferencia entre los controles, si jugamos en la SNES de los años 90`s, Killer Instinct es un juego bastante complejo, sobre todo para lograr realizar los combos de ataque o golpes seguidos que son espectaculares en este videojuego, recordemos que el control de la SNES no posee palanca, son las típicas flechas de dirección, sin embargo, para realizar ataques especiales se debe realizar movimientos de “media luna” es decir :⬅️⬇️➡️ o ⬅️⬆️➡️ para que el personaje pueda ejecutar un ataque especial, esto en un control de SNES es un poco mas difícil que en comparación al N64 o en este caso al control de Xbox classic.

El movimiento es mas fácil y los ataques se realizan con mucha mas suavidad que en aquel entonces donde en ocasiones mis dedos tenían algunas ampollas por tratar de utilizar a cada instante los ataques especiales de los personajes. Esto sin duda me agradó bastante al jugar en este emulador tener esa facilidad en cuanto a esos ataques especiales que tanto me encantaba hacer de niño, sin duda el aspecto más relevante al jugar este videojuego en esta consola de Microsoft.

Hermano vs Hermano

Invite a mi hermano a jugar en modo multijugador en enfrentamientos directos, pero lo que mi hermano en ese momento no tenia en cuenta es que yo me recordaba de algunos combos espectaculares que arrastran a la muerte al rival. Quise aprovecharme de esa circunstancia e invitarlo a luchar con una carcajada malévola en mi mente. Mi hermano apenas estaba comenzando a jugar y quise aprovecharme de eso pero como buen gamer mi hermano se adapto muy rápido al videojuego, mi risa malévola en mi mente se fue desvaneciendo muy rápidamente al transcurrir las batallas.

La Trampa de Cinder

Uno de los personajes que más recuerdo es Cinder, una especie de antorcha humana que posee un combo que lo convierte en el personaje más fácil de utilizar y que sabiendo utilizar esta habilidad puede ser invencible ante otros oponentes. Este fue el primer personaje que seleccioné para volver a jugar Killer Instinct luego de casi dos décadas.

Evidentemente lo vencí muy fácil mente, mientras su rostro poseía una expresión que mezclaba asombro e incredulidad yo me reía internamente, luego de dije que recordara que yo jugué ese juego muchas veces incluso antes de que el naciera. Jugué con otros personajes mientras recordaba alguno de sus movimientos, a pesar de que me recordé de algunos aun me falta recordar otros movimientos especiales.

Luego de Algunas Partidas

Algo en que muchos gamers nos caracterizamos en la aceptación rápida a los nuevos videojuegos, esto fue una realidad en mi hermano que en pocas partidas ya podía vencerme, le enseñe esos movimientos de especiales que con la combinación de hacer una especie de “media luna” en la palanca y un botón. Pronto (mucho más de lo que pensaba), estábamos realizando buenas batallas, emocionantes y con bastantes golpes, sangre y movimientos especiales.

Conclusión

Es muy especial volver a jugar este videojuego que tanto recuerdo jugar cuando era niño, otro contrincante que invitaré a jugar es a mi padre, recuerdo que le encantaba jugar conmigo este videojuego pronto jugaremos y seguramente nos reiremos recordando esos viejos momentos. Mi hermano sin saberlo instaló un videojuego muy especial para mi y uno de los que yo considero clásico del genero de mucha de los 90`s. Considero que este videojuego es excelente para jugarlo con amigos o familiares, una pieza de la historia que quizás muchos olvidaron o algunos no conocen ya que su lanzamiento fue antes de que muchos que ahora son gamers nacieran.

This video game was very special for me, at the time it was my first video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System or SNES, it was the game that opened the door to another generation of consoles since I previously had in my possession the NES or Nintendo Entertainment System, although their names may be similar the difference is abysmal between each console. When I saw Killer Instinct for the first time in the 90`s I found that its graphics were very realistic with a quality I had never seen, I was just a kid but I could appreciate a good video game when I had it in my hands.

I don't live at my mother's house which is where my brother lives, however, we are very close and I can go and play on that collection of consoles pretty much whenever I feel like it. I didn't know that he was interested in installing Killer Instinct under the emulator which in this case is for the N64, I think he had no idea what this game meant to me and for that reason he didn't tell me anything. Although our homes are very close at the time of publishing the post, which I will leave the link, he was out of town so I had to wait for him to return to satiate my craving to play again this great classic fighting video games.

When my brother finally came back and we both had the time available to play we sat down and turned on the TV, a very different TV compared to the one I played with in my childhood, in those years it was an old and small TV. Now it is a decent 32 inch TV that is basically used only for gaming, this caused me to laugh as I was somehow comparing a video game that I played more than two decades ago in another world technological environment.

This is a video game with an excellent graphic quality considering those limitations in terms of technology for the time, seeing it in the year 2021 I still think it was an advanced video game for that time in terms of its visual quality, a very well developed game.

Difference between SNES and XBOX Classic (Controls).

I invited my brother to play in multiplayer mode in direct confrontations, but what my brother at that time did not take into account is that I remembered some spectacular combos that drag to death the opponent. My brother was just starting to play and I wanted to take advantage of that but as a good gamer my brother adapted very quickly to the video game, my malevolent laughter in my mind was fading very quickly as the battles went by.

The Cinder Trap

One of the characters I remember most is Cinder, a kind of human torch that possesses a combo that makes him the easiest character to use and knowing how to use this ability he can be invincible against other opponents. This was the first character I selected to play Killer Instinct again after almost two decades.
