Super Mario Sunshine was released in 2002 for the Nintendo Game Cube. And this would be the second Mario game in 3D (the first was Super Mario 64).

Sin dudas, lo que más amo de este juego es su mecánica con el cañón de agua. Ya que con este aparato, Mario puede usar el agua para impulsarse varios metros en el aire, planear, correr a grandes velocidades tanto en tierra como en mar y más. Básicamente, este artefacto amplio significativamente nuestra movilidad. Permitiéndonos hacer piruetas espectaculares.
I literally loved this mechanic so much, that at times I would stop doing missions just to play and see what things I could do with this water cannon.

I consider the overall design to be very good. The island is picturesque and full of life. Where we are given the possibility to explore and interact with different NPCs. Of which, some provide us with secondary tasks. The scenarios are well built and worked. Where they are very distinctive from each other and have their own personality.
Considero que el diseño en general es muy bueno. La Isla es pintoresca y llena de vida. Donde se nos da la posibilidad de explorar e interactuar con distintos NPCs. De los cuales, algunos nos proporcionan tareas secundarias. Los escenarios están bien construidos y trabajados. Donde son muy distintivos entre sí y tienen su personalidad propia.
I find the characters on the island very cute. Their design is quite adorable and pleasant.
And last but not least, I love the color palette. Although all Mario games are more or less handled with the same tones.
Los personajes de la Isla me parecen muy simpáticos. Su diseño es bastante adorable y agradable.
Y por último, su paleta de colores me encanta. Aunque todos los juegos de Mario se manejan más o menos con los mismos tonos.
This game follows the original essence of Mario games. Overcome different platforms and scenarios, get as many stars as possible and in the end, rescue Princess Peach. Which I don't think is a bad thing. I like that the roots are maintained over the years.

Obviously, there must be Mario games much better than this one, but I'll definitely take this one. I have never been in Nintendo's ecosystem and releasing 100 games with the same IP is kind of insane. Haven't played this one and that water cannon mechanic is so cool.
Surely, Mario's IP must be the most used in the video game world.

That's true. Even though the game came out in 2002, it doesn't feel like it's 2 decades old. If you told me without knowing that this title came out 6/7 years ago, I would believe it.

Sin duda que es otra de las grandes aventuras del famoso plomero. Este no lo pude jugar aun cuando tuve la GameCube pero este juego si me costó conseguir en Venezuela. Al final nunca lo pude jugar. Espero algún dia poder hacerlo.
Lamento que te hayas perdido este juego. En verdad es muy bueno y divertido. Espero que algún día logres disfrutarlo.
Supongo que hoy en día no es imprescindible tener una Game Cube para jugarlo. Tal vez puedas hacerlo con un emulador.
