Are you one of those who like to feel the tension of horror games? Honestly, I'm not one of those who plays this kind of genre, I'm rather one of those who watch others play. However, there is a well-known saga that in each of its games can fill you with nerves and great scares, I'm talking about Resident Evil, a series of video games that thrills and scares in each of its installments; but today I will talk about a special installment:

It is a survival horror video game that this time shows us a terrifying story with one of the most beloved characters of the Resident Evil saga, she is Claire Redfield who will also be accompanied by a supporting character who will be Moira Burton. They were at a party at the headquarters of an organization but the headquarters was attacked and kidnapped everyone to take them to an island where terror awaits them. As a surprise factor, we will find Barry Burton in the story and we will play with him as well, besides he has his support character who will be a tender little girl named Natalia Korda, who will help Barry to find his daughter.

Speaking of the characters in the game we find Claire who carries a knife and at the same time is in charge of carrying firearms (because Moira is afraid of guns), she can carry from a simple pistol to shotguns and bombs. Moira instead is a character who helps Claire, she has a flashlight with which you can find objects and also blind the enemies who can then hit from behind with a lever, she can also open boxes to find more objects. When we play with Barry we count on that he already comes equipped with three good weapons and a flashlight in addition to his knife, his partner Natalia uses a kind of intuition to locate enemies and help Barry on the way, she can also locate objects and throw bricks at enemies.

The enemies are terrifying as in the other installments, we will see some beings called Afflicted that are quite fast, there are the Giant Whip Spiders that are quite annoying but luckily they do not do much damage, there is the Iron Head that is giant men with an iron triangle on their heads, They can hurt you significantly because they have a giant mallet so you have to be careful when being near them, we also find beings called Sploder that are basically like the Afflicted but have a kind of giant bubbles all over his body, and so many other horrible monsters to be killed until you get to the most powerful.

The gameplay of this game is quite good and has several modes to play, the main one is the campaign mode which is the story mode where we start playing with Claire and Moira to pass the first episode of the game and unlock the same episode but this time from the point of view of Barry. The other modes are assault and an extra mode.

As in other installments of this saga here we will find a lot of terror, action, puzzles, horrible monsters, and shooting everywhere, that's why even though I'm a little scared of these games I can't miss the experience of playing them, so I take this post to invite you to play it too. ¿Eres de los que le gusta sentir la tensión de los juegos de horror? Yo honestamente no soy de las que juega este tipo de género, más bien soy de las que ve a otros jugar. Sin embargo, hay una saga bastante conocida que en cada uno de sus juegos puede llenarte de nervios y grandes sustos, estoy hablando de Resident Evil, una serie de videojuegos que emociona y asusta en cada una de sus entregas; pero el día de hoy les hablaré sobre una entrega en especial:

Es un videojuego de horror de supervivencia que en esta oportunidad nos muestra una terrorífica historia con uno de los personajes más queridos de la saga Resident Evil, ella es Claire Redfield quien además estará acompañada por un personaje de apoyo que será Moira Burton. Ellas se encontraban en una fiesta en la sede de una oraganización pero la sede fue atacada y secuestraron a todos para llevarlos a una isla en la que el terror los aguardaría. Como factor sorpresa encontraremos a Barry Burton dentro de la historia y jugaremos con él también, además de que cuenta con su personaje de apoyo que será una tierna niñita llamada Natalia Korda, quien ayudará a Barry a encontrar a su hija.

Hablando de los personajes del juego encontramos a Claire que lleva un cuchillo y a la vez es quien se encarga de llevar las armas de fuego (porque Moira le teme a las armas), ella puede llevar desde una simple pistola hasta escopetas y bombas. Moira en cambio es un personaje que sirve de ayuda a Claire, ella tiene una linterna con la que puede encontrar objetos y también cegar a los enemigos a los que luego puede golpear por detrás con una palanca, además con ella puede abrir cajas para encontrar más objetos. Cuando jugamos con Barry contamos con que ya él viene equipado con tres buenas armas y una linterna además de su cuchillo, su compañera Natalia usa una especie de intuición para localizar a los enemigos y ayudar a Barry en el camino, también puede localizar objetos y lanzar ladrillos a los enemigos.

Los enemigos son terroríficos como en las demás entregas, veremos a unos seres llamados Afligidos que son bastante rápidos, están las Giant Whip Spider que son unas arañas muy molestas pero por suerte no hacen mucho daño, están los Iron Head que son hombres gigantes con un triangulo de hierro en la cabeza, ellos te pueden lastimar significativamente ya que cuentan con un mazo gigante así que hay que ser cuidadosos al estar cerca de ellos, encontramos también seres llamados Sploder que básicamente son como los Afligidos pero tienen una especie de burbujas gigantes por todo su cuerpo, y así muchos otros monstruos horribles a los que habrá que matar hasta llegar a los mas poderosos.

La jugabilidad de este juego es bastante buena y cuenta con varios modos para jugar, el principal es el modo campaña que es el modo historia donde comenzaremos a jugar con Claire y Moira hasta pasar el primer episodio del juego y así desbloquear el mismo episodio pero esta vez desde el punto de vista de Barry. Los otros modos son asalto y un modo extra.
