Debemos dirigirnos a la cima del castillo para poder observar de donde vienen los enemigos y el porqué nos atacan, pero en el camino encontraremos a Cid, ha cambiado mucho, ahora está más anciano de lo que era, se unirá a nuestro grupo, puesto que ahora peleara junto con nosotros, en el camino nos enfrentaremos a muchos enemigos como los Duendes y los Domovoi, son iguales que los Duendes, pero más fuertes, pero igual no dejan de ser débiles ante nuestros ataques, sin mencionar que nuestros personajes tienen niveles entre 17 a 20.

Al estar en la cima de nuestro castillo nos daremos cuenta de que los enemigos vienen por aire, puesto que nos enfrentaremos a dos jefes muy poderosos, los recordaremos muy bien, puesto que ya lo habíamos visto mucho antes de comenzar esta nueva expansión, estos jefes son los Belfegor, criaturas demoniacas con poderes de ataques bastantes elevados, sin mencionar que una de sus más peligrosas habilidades nos puede dejar con 1 de salud.
Después nos enfrentaremos a Arimán, para mí es muy extraño que un Arimán se encuentre en este lugar, ya que solo habita en la luna de los lunarios, sin embargo, gracias a las habilidades de Cooperación de Cecil y Rosa podremos quitarle mucha vitalidad, en mi caso he logrado quitarle 1245 puntos de vitalidad, pero la magia de Arimán es muy mortal también, así que asegurémonos de mantener la salud de nuestros luchadores al máximo.
La habilidad Cooperativa de Cecil y Rosa se llama Espada Divina, donde mezcla la magia blanca de Rosa a la espada de Cecil, creando una espada con energía de luz y provocando grabes daños, luego de vencer a Arimán nos enfrentaremos a otro jefe resguardado por 3 cocatoris, nos pueden convertir en piedra si nos descuidamos.

Al vencerlos Cecil le dirá a Cid que se lleve a Rosa lejos del castillo para poder salvar a su familia y no dejar a Ceodore solo en este mundo, puesto que Cecil tiene un mal presentimiento a cerca de su vida, luego de que se hayan ido veremos la luna nuevamente y veremos que se avecina un dragón, no es nada más y nada menos que el padre de los Eidolones Bahamut, este poderoso Eidolon es invocado por una poderosa invocadora cuyo nombre aún desconocemos, se parece mucho a Rydia, pero de una vestimenta extraña y su cabello es de color azul.
Su cabello es del color de los Lunarios, lo cual activa más mis sospechas sobre si es la hija de Golbez, sin embargo, aún no lo sabremos hasta llegar un poco más lejos en esta historia, yo he avanzado un poco para saber quien es esta misteriosa chica, pero aún no logro descubrirlo.
Cecil no sabe que hacer así que nos enfrentaremos al dragón Bahamut, aparecerá un contador de 5 segundos en cuenta regresiva, el cual aprovecharemos ese tiempo para atacarlo, pero por mucha vitalidad que le quitemos no alcanzará para vencerlo cuando el contador llegue a cero.
