‘Prey is a first-person action-adventure video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, released in May 2017.

This title is a reinvention of the original 2006 game, although it shares only the name and some basic concepts, offering a completely new and unique experience.

The story of ‘Prey’ takes place in the year 2032, on a space station called Talos I, which orbits the moon.

The player assumes the role of Morgan Yu, a test subject who finds himself trapped on the station after an alien threat known as the Typhon has invaded.

As Morgan explores the station, he discovers that he has been the subject of experiments and that his own identity and past are intertwined with the events that have led to the crisis on Talos I.

One of the most striking features of Prey is its focus on exploration and environmental storytelling. Players can investigate the station, gather information and uncover the story through documents, recordings and the environment itself.

The atmosphere of the game is tense and immersive, with sound design contributing to the sense of constant danger.

The gameplay combines elements of action, stealth and RPG, allowing players to customise Morgan's abilities through a system of upgrades known as ‘Neuromods’.

These upgrades allow players to acquire both human and alien abilities, adding a level of depth and strategy to combat and exploration.

Combat in Prey is versatile and offers multiple approaches. Players can choose to engage enemies directly, using weapons and abilities, or they can use stealth to avoid confrontation.

The Typhon's artificial intelligence is challenging, forcing players to adapt and think strategically.

Visually, Prey features an impressive art style, with detailed environment design that reflects the retro-futuristic aesthetic of the space station.

The narrative unfolds through interactions with other characters, as well as through decisions that affect the outcome of the game.

For a moment I thought it was Alien: Isolation

Similar concepts but very different games

Prey is a game that I liked a lot but that if the game is long depending on what you do and more with respect to one of its endings, in short this game I have scared me on many occasions, on the road gives you something scary and you have to hit every thing to see if there is a tytphon type mimic hidden among the objects, but it is easy to detect if you have good hearing and incidentally the scanner when you get it later, is very good game

Extraordinary, you have to play it calmly and very alert to what is appearing.

There are many of typhon from mimics, humanoids, psychics and giant aberrations that have a purpose of wanting to eliminate Morgan I don't know why but the first time I saw him I was afraid he can even get into the small entrances and that this beast is big. I let out a very masculine scream when I saw him do that hahahaha.
