With Hive Vote, does a curation trail override a fanbase upvote, I mean the percentage of a vote, if I set to vote for a fan at 100% and a trail I follow has that same account set at 1%, will the fan be voted at 1%, the settings of a trail? What if I follow multiple trails with the same account for example, which trail would dictate how I will vote for that account?
The first vote stays on the post. i.e. whichever upvote comes first will not get replaced. Hive.vote doesn't vote on the already voted posts by the same account.
That did not answer my questions. And I am not getting a fixed voting percentage. One vote at 12 percent. Another one was at 50%. I want it all at 1% or 100%. Or one number. But I get many different numbers.
If you set the "Fixed" option in the curation trails all should be the fixed % that you set.
I tried that, it did not, and there is sometimes a conflict as some accounts are both a fan and in multiple trails at the same time.
What is the lowest I can vote? Will Hive Vote work at 00.01%? I set the Fanbase and Curation Trail at 00.01%. I am waiting to see if it works or not. It said it accepts decimals and it did not accept three decimal places as in 0.001%. But it did accept two decimal places, 0.01%. That is the smallest number it accepts. My thinking is that if the website accepts that number, that percentage, then it should work. But perhaps it may not work. I will try to find out if it can work or not.
This is the condition for the minimum possible vote on hive.vote.
Voting weight * Voting power * HP balance > 15 HP
For example 5% vote at 100% voting power for an account with 1000 HP:
5% * 100% * 1000 HP = 50 HP
50 HP is higher than 15 HP, so it will broadcast the vote at 5% weight.
Another example for 1% vote:
1% * 100% * 1000 HP = 10 HP
Hive.vote will skip this vote because the resulting value is less than 15HP.
