I really related to what you said about modern gaming and the nostalgia for turn-based RPGs. Octopath Traveler 2 strikes that balance between classic and modern very well.

Yes it does, annoyances and all. I really loved the old school RPG's and this one doesn't really improve on the graphics. It does however, seriously improve upon music and voiceovers.
