[ENG/ESP] My two favorite consoles.

Today I want to talk about two consoles that have marked my life, that to this day, I can't decide which one is my favorite. Both consoles are of the seventh generation, well, one of them is a higher generation, but for me the power that these consoles possess, are quite similar.

I wanted to do a kind of battle between the two consoles, but as I said, I can't decide on either one, so this post will be about my experience with both consoles. I want to emphasize that I got both consoles the same year, between 2017-2018, but obviously, they are consoles that were launched to the market much earlier. I should speak of the Nintendo Ds, but in spite of being one of my favorite consoles, it does not possess a graphical power similar to that of PSP, but in if, the Nintendo Ds and the PSP are of the same generation practically.

I will start by talking about the design of each one. The PSP, has a quite elegant and mature design, at least in my opinion. The L and R(triggers) keys that the PSP has are fantastic, quite comfortable and elegant, they are transparent and have the particularity of resembling the black keys of a piano. This console by default, uses small disks called "Umd" and they are placed inside the PSP. To **place them just open the compartment that this brings, and insert the small disc. I particularly like this function, although the reading speeds are not very good and the truth is that today I hardly use these discs. It is surprising how all the finish of this console can be so perfect and elegant. I also want to emphasize that my console is not the first version, is the Slim version, where its thickness is reduced to make it more elegant.

Then there is the 3DS, which has several versions. I own the 3DS OLD and the 3DS OLD XL, both designs I love. If we compare them they are the PSP in design, I like more the PSP, but only in design. The 3DS OLD XL is quite large, its triggers are similar to the Nintendo Ds, maybe a little better this time. It has two pretty good screens and despite being heavier than the PSP, it is easy to get used to its weight. The games it has come in small cartridges, most like a chip, which are quite nice and is quite comfortable to insert them into the console. If we look at both consoles, we will notice that they are quite different in design.

But still, I think both consoles are beautiful, I saw the PSP when I was about 8-9 years old and wanted it, but it was a little expensive and I never had it. Then a little later appeared the successor console of the Nintendo Ds, the 3DS, which improved much its graphical power and changed a little its design. This console neither I could have it in its moment, it was very expensive. They are consoles that always I wanted to have, but I had to be satisfied with my Nintendo Ds, which is one of the best consoles that exist, at least for me. Then I grew a little more and working hard, I was able to acquire both consoles, the consoles of my dreams.

To this day I still enjoy these magnificent consoles. They both have an impressive game catalog, a pretty good customization section, incredible sound and screens with pretty brightness and colors. Besides that, their power allows them to emulate many games, both can emulate NES, GBA, N64 and many more, although it is true that not all games can be played in a fluid way, but some can. They are consoles that I could try without having them and that left me drooling with the desire to have one of my own. Currently both consoles are discontinued, but if you have the possibility to acquire a second hand one, surely its price will not be very high, you will not regret it. You will have games for life and probably if you don't subject them to blows or water, they can last you a long time since they have quality materials.

Everything I have said is subjective, it is my own opinion and experience that speak for themselves. It may be that for you if there is a winning console in between, you may not like either one or you may simply not have been able to try one out and have an opinion about it. But if so, you can leave your opinion and tell me what you think of these consoles and which one you would choose.

El día de hoy quiero hablar acerca de dos consolas que han marcado mi vida, que hasta el día de hoy, no puedo decidir cual es mi favorita. Ambas consolas son de la séptima generación, bueno, una de ellas es una generación más alta, pero para mi la potencia que estas consolas poseen, son bastante parecidas.

Quería hacer una especie de batalla entre ambas consolas, pero como ya lo dije, no me puedo decidir por ninguna, así que este post será sobre mi experiencia con ambas consolas. Quiero destacar que ambas consolas las obtuve el mismo año, entre el 2017 y el 2018, pero obviamente, son consolas que fueron lanzadas al mercado mucho antes. Debería hablar de la Nintendo Ds, pero a pesar de ser una de mis consolas favoritas, no posee una potencia gráfica similar a la de PSP, pero en si, la Nintendo Ds y la PSP son de la misma generación practicamente.

Empezaré hablando del diseño de cada una. La PSP, tiene un diseño bastante elegante y maduro, al menos a mi parecer. Las teclas L y R(gatillos) que la PSP posee son fantásticos, bastante cómodos y elegantes, son transparentes y poseen la particularidad de asemejarse a las teclas negras de un piano. Esta consola por defecto, utiliza pequeños discos llamados "Umd" y se colocan dentro de la PSP. Para poder colocarlas solo hay que abrir el compartimiento que esta trae, e insertar el pequeño disco. A mi en lo particular, esta función me gusta bastante, aunque las velocidades de lectura no son muy buenas y la verdad es que hoy en día apenas utilizo esos discos. Es sorprendente como todo el acabado de esta consola pueda ser tan perfecto y elegante. También quiero destacar que mi consola no es la primera versión, es la versión Slim, en donde su grosor es reducido para hacerla más elegante.

Luego está la 3DS, la cual posee varias versiones. Yo poseo la 3DS OLD y la 3DS OLD XL, ambos diseños me encantan. Si la comparamos son la PSP en cuanto a diseño, me gusta más la PSP, pero solo en el diseño. La 3DS OLD XL es bastante grande, sus gatillos son similares a la Nintendo Ds, tal vez un poco mejores esta vez. Posee dos pantallas bastante buenas y a pesar de ser más pesada que la PSP, es fácil acostumbrarse a su peso. Los juegos que posee vienen en pequeños cartuchos, lo más parecido a un chip, los cuales son bastante bonitos y es bastante cómodo insertarlos en la consola. Si miramos ambas consolas, notaremos que son bastante distintas en cuanto a su diseño.

Pero aún así, ambas consolas me parecen preciosas, la PSP la vi cuando tenía unos 8- 9 años de edad y la deseaba, pero era algo costosa y nunca la tuve. Luego un poco después apareció la consola sucesora de la Nintendo Ds, la 3DS, la cual mejoraba mucho su potencia gráfica y cambiaba un poco su diseño. Esta consola tampoco pude tenerla en su momento, era muy costosa. Son consolas que siempre quise tener, pero debía de conformarme con mi Nintendo Ds, la cual es una de las mejores consolas que existen, al menos para mi. Luego crecí un poco más y trabajando duro, pude adquirir ambas consolas, las consolas de mis sueños.

Hasta el día de hoy sigo disfrutando de estas magnificas consolas. Ambas gozan de un catálogo de juegos impresionante, un apartado de personalización bastante bueno, sonido increíble y unas pantallas con un brillo y colores bastante bonitos. Además de eso, su potencia les permite emular muchos juegos, ambas pueden emular NES, GBA, N64 y muchas más, aunque es verdad que no todos los juegos se pueden jugar de una manera fluida, pero algunos si. Son consolas que pude probar sin tenerlas y que me dejaron babeando con ganas de tener una propia. Actualmente ambas consolas están descontinuadas, pero si tienes la posibilidad de adquirir una de segunda mano, seguramente su precio no será muy alto, no te arrepentirás. Tendrás juegos para toda la vida y probablemente si no las sometes a golpes o al agua, puedan durarte mucho ya que poseen materiales de calidad.

Todo lo que he dicho es subjetivo, es mi propia opinión y experiencia la que hablan. Puede que para ti si haya una consola ganadora entre ambas, puede que no te guste ninguna o simplemente no hayas podido probar alguna y tener una opinión al respecto. Pero si es así, puedes dejar tu opinión y decirme que te parecen estas consolas y cual elegirías.
