Getting more powerful with Archon Shards

I have been trying to increase my damage output in Warframe. You can do many things to increase how much damage you deal with your abilities and weapons. You can buy a stronger weapon with better base damage which is what I have been doing mostly.

I collected some of the most popular weapons from the game. I have two of the best bows, a Nataruk (which you get from doing a quest) and a Kuva Bramma (a lich weapon, you get from defeating Kuva Lich in the game). I have the best secondary pistol, Laetum. This incarnon weapon came out only a year ago and incarnons are some of the best weapons in general.

There are still more incarnon weapons I want. I want the Phenmor, a primary rifle and an incarnon adaptor of Torid so I can convert it to an incarnon weapon as well.

But if you have played Warframe, you will know that your build is as important as your weapon. How you use your Mods and up your damage is quite important. All the things like damage increase, multishot, fire rate, critical chance, critical damage, and damage to specific factions can be boosted with Mods.

Here is an example of a Galvanized mod called Galvanize Scope. This can be fit as a primary weapon only. If your gameplay style is heavily focused on getting headshots then this one is worth adding to your build.

You can also buy some veiled Riven Mod which unveils themself after doing a challenge. These challenges vary a lot and one can take anywhere from a minute to half an hour. But they will be a random mod for a random weapon. And once you get it for a weapon you can use another currency called 'Kuva' to cycle those riven and get a unique set of positives or negatives. You can get a very powerful weapon by this method but it all Rng at the end.

Archon Shards

Another way to increase your weapon or ability damage is to use 'Shards'. These are endgame items and won't be available for new players. These things are very useful but are available in limited quantities. You can get one guaranteed shard each week by doing the weekly hunts. And you can get them from 'netracell' but those are not guaranteed. You can do five netracell runs per week each having like 25% chance to get you a random coloured shard. There is a rare variant of these shards called 'Tauforged' and they increase the stats more than the normal ones.

These Shards are not added to Weapons but infused directly into Warframes. I got lucky a couple of days ago and got a Tauforged Crimson Archon Shard.

You can choose which stat you want to increase and add it to your warframe. I don't use a lot of melee weapons so I am not going for Melee Crit damage. Ability strength and duration are both good. But I went for the Primary Status Chance. If you can increase the Status chance percentage to 100%, it would mean that each shot from your weapon would deal the elemental damage which you modded in your weapon and these have amazing results.

Two are better than one...right?

I just have three Prime Warframes now and my favourite among all is the Zephyr (in the screenshot above). The next frame which I love to play with is Nekros (in the screenshot below). I equipped Shards on it too.

Here is what I went for. Three Crimson Shards for increasing Primary Status Chance. I love to use the Kuva Bramma (primary bow weapon) with him and increasing the status chance is quite powerful. You can see I also went for two yellow Shards. Each increases my Effectiveness on Energy orb by +50% meaning more energy to play with and this frame needs a lot of energy.

I tested my build in a survival steel path on Deimos and it held pretty well. I had no issues with Energy and damage.

I got the archgun, Kuva Grattler by defeating my Kuva Lich. He tried to flee to Saturn but I chased him in my Railjack and Vanquished him. I am not too sure what happens when you convert it. Does he start working for me in some way? I am 'vanquishing' them for now until I get all the different weapons they give.

Once you defeat them, you will get a message in your inbox that the weapon is delivered to your Foundry.

Also, you get all the stolen things back after you defeat it.

Did I show you my new Landing Craft? I managed to get the Parallax Landing Craft. It is not just a skin but now you can use a thing called 'Orokin Eye' which can show you the treasures in the map around you. This can be used every 5 minutes and it doesn't have that much range but still, for some missions like in the Zariman it is really nice.

My eyes are now on the 'Terror Landing Craft Skin'. But 75 Platinum for just a skin? I will buy this only if I don't have any more stuff to spend that precious platinum on.

I am still at MR 15 and will cross this rank in a couple of days. I still have a lot of crafted weapons in my Foundry but I am not claiming them yet as I don't have free weapon slots.
