Dave the Diver had some tough encounters with Shark in the Deep Blue but he was able to successfully hunt this predator and bring the Shark head to be used for an exclusive recipe by Banjo, the Chef, to impress a new NPC, Yoshie. Impressed by this exotic dish, she decided to help us and recruit some more staff to our Sushi restaurant.
She even talked about it on the social media app, Cooksta. It does look gross haha.
I did a couple of more dives the next day and got out after overpacking our bag with fish and other ingredients.
The Cargo Box was too restrictive and not letting us carry a lot of fish so the next upgrade I did was levelling up the Cargo Box to level 4 and getting a 28 Kg limit now. I had enough left to upgrade my Air Tank too.
We had an active quest to go to the location where Dr Bacon's radar was pointing. He claims we will find the settlement of the ancient Sea People Civilization at that place.
We found a room which was blocked off with heavy rocks. So we came back to the surface. Dr Bacon was happy with this discovery but we needed a way to open that door. Cobra overheard us and suggested using Bombs to blow up the rocks.
Sounds like a plan, but for that, we needed to retrieve a lost drone shipment from the ocean. It was stuck in the current so we had to go down to find it. That will be tomorrow's work though, it was already night and we couldn't go for any more dives.
We got an applicant for the job. We put out a flyer ad a day ago and now we have this applicant. We hired this person right away. She is just a level 1 employee and better at serving. So we put her in the Dining Area rather than in the Kitchen. There is still one more slot available in the Kitchen. We needed to put out another ad.
You can also train them to increase their level which will increase their stats. But I think that also increases their salary and I didn't want to do it right away.
Just like every other evening, I spent some time setting up a good menu with the highest-paying dishes.
We had some expensive dishes today too just like yesterday and made more than yesterday. I expected a bit more sales today but not bad. We served a lot more customers today and got 13 new likes. Close to getting the next rank in the Cooksta app.
The next day just before the dive, we were able to craft a new guy. The Triple Axel gun shoots three bullets at the same time but has much less range than the basic rifle.
From the money I made yesterday, I upgraded my Diving Suit to Level 3, and now it can go to a depth of up to 150 meters easily.
We found a Camera Lens in the water and found all the other items required to complete the current quest. There were some hiccups going out of the water but we managed to run away from the dangerous sawtooth fish.
I got another 500 Gold for completing this mission. Well, it all went into the Cargo Box upgrade. Now it can hold up to 42 Kg easily.
The last dive of today was spent gathering more fish and cooking ingredients from the sea. I had some struggles with the current harpoon. I have to upgrade it to catch bigger fish easily.
But this dive didn't go so well. I packed everything in my cargo box and got a lot of fish but then I was attacked by a couple of fish in the ocean. I tried to use the escape pod to get out of there but that pod took a bit longer than expected and I couldn't make it back on top.
This made me lose most of the items. You can just take one thing if your oxygen runs out during the dive. Sad, but I took too much risk. Would be more careful next time. Gun helps but it has just a few bullets and you can run out of it easily.
I wasn't happy to see that we got no new applicants as well. I decided to run a TV ad this time. It costs 150 Gold but is better than a Flyer Ad, I assumed.
It was time to choose the menu and open the restaurant. Our Shark head dish was out of ingredients and some other expensive ones too so this night we didn't get more sales than yesterday. But it is still a good profit to upgrade some more things the next day.

I liked how they did Yoshie hate the shark head dish, even in the beginning of the game I think it is good. I hope soon Dave will get better equipment and be stronger than ever. I want to see more of Dave. Tbh I have never seen a bit overweight diver in my life 😂

I knew very superficially this game, I love the graphics and I understand it has a lot of mechanics, I do not know the duration of the game but a friend told me that it is great and now that I see that you are playing it I also want to have this experience but I have other games pending ajjaja maybe I will let a few years to play it.
