Amicia is the Macula Carrier's (Hugo's) Protector.

Then we found this crank that we rotated and unleashed the hordes of rat. Now we had to look for a way to light up that brasier on the elevator which should light up the whole room and we'd have to look for a way to get the elevator down as well.

I had to explore the alcoves and find a way to get the elevator down and get rid of the rats on the ground. I got into this passage where I noticed something but there were rats below. I released that meat for them so I could get to the other side but they killed me when I climbed down.

We needed a preservative agent like alcohol as per Lucas was mentioning and we could find that in the chest where I was trying to go. But it was too dangerous with the rats down there.

After looking around for a long time and died for couple more times trying to get around, I noticed another meat on the wooden surface that I released and the rats went there climbing the net.

The chest was on the same surface where the rats were busy eating the meat. I found alcohol bottle along with other resources in that chest and then I didn't waste any time in getting back to Lucas as the rats could be back to the ground anytime.

Now we needed a second element to craft an Ignifer. So, they were looking forward to craft Ignifer that I didn't know till then. We now needed sulfur and noticed some spilled on the planks there so there should be more above but we needed something to get up there.

We needed a crate or something to get up there and I noticed one but Lucas had to help me with the manual elevator to get it down. Then I pushed the crate and found the sulfur in another chest climbing up there.

As we found sulfur and alcohol that's one of the best basis for an Ignifer, I crafted one and I light up the embers on the elevator there in the center and all the rats moved away seeing the fire.

We had to make our way to this crank and I had to use some Ignifer's on our way as there were a lot of rats there. Then I commanded Lucas to work on this crank that made the lift come halfway down.

Then I had to find the other crank and it was not so easy getting there as there were a lot of a rats on my way but I could get to it at last and when I released the crank, we had very short time to get to the lift so ran fast and we did it.

The lift went up automatically taking us and we found unlight again after a long time now. We followed the sunlight and noticed a big tower having the order's symbol on it and Vaudin should've been in there.

We kept moving forward towards the tower and suddenly I noticed a plant with a flower where I interacted and Amicia put the flower on her ear like Hugo used to do.

There were some obstacles that we had to take care on our way. We didn't see any sign of the mercenaries around which worried Lucas that they might found Vaudin already.

But when we reached close to the tower, we noticed some mercenaries were guarding around and this part made my journey harder for a time. As I tried taking down some of them, the others noticed us and started coming after us when there were hundreds of rats waiting for a chance to make us their dinner.

When the mercenaries saw me, they kept trying to hunt me down and I kept running around so they don't get to us but when we were slow in there as there were rats around, one of them killed me.

It became harder cause some of them had helmets on and I was unable to take him down when I was taking most of them down who didn't wear helmets.

One of them just didn't let go and we kept escaping from him. And suddenly I reached an archer whom I was about to take down but the other one came close and took me down again.

After taking down the archer fast in the next time, there was only the mercenary with the helmet remaining and when I was looking for a way to escape from him. the rats got me.

I understood I couldn't take that man down so I looked for an alternative way and I found a way to get inside the tower without taking him down and I took it.

After getting inside the tower, I had to work on a puzzle to open the door to the stairs. Lucas helped me with the signs and I used sling and rocks to do it and we got the door opened.

The stairs took us to Vaudin, the Magister. Vaudin was writing something and when Amicia introduced herself, he understood who she is and he was mentioning that explains why the brutes downstairs are so quiet.

Vaudin said Amici is a carrier's protector. Amicia told him the Macula's woken up again and Hugo needs his help and that the rats are already here.

Vaudin went to Hugo with them and said they should start the treatment immediately and the chapter ended there.
