Blood Ties.

Amicia got lost trying to find Hugo. Exhausted and emotionally drained, she fell into a hallucination where Hugo was but one of the many ghosts of her guilt. At last, Amicia kept asking Hugo to run and then Nicholas took Hugo away to meet his mother and the rats took Amicia in.

This chapter started with Hugo being with an Alchemist in a castle of Inquisition. It looked like Hugo surrendered to them and was giving his blood in trade of seeing his mom. Poor kid had his both hands covered in bandages.

Hugo asked the alchemist if he can see his mom now as he gave them what they wanted but the alchemist said only the grand inquisitor can say that. Then after the alchemist left, Hugo noticed a rat passing through a cabinet so he decided to do the same and find his mother but he was hearing the noise that was making him sick.

I started playing as Hugo now and through cabinets and holes, I kept moving forward when there were guards in all around the castle. Someone was talking about the conjuring approaches.

There were guards and alchemists in all around the place. All the alchemists were busy working on something, probably to cure Vitalis or maybe to give him power. I kept using the hiding spots while there were peoples close to me.

I had to walk carefully so I don't break anything otherwise I'll be caught and Hugo can't find like Amicia. There I reached a big room where the alchemists were working on something. I got caught there for 2/3 times by the alchemists.

Then I reached this space where I had alchemists and guards around and I had to use the smoke to hide from some guards. Hugo was glad that nobody has seen him till then.

I was close to this hall room where someone titled/named Archbishop came to meet Vitalis but the guards were saying he's busy when Archbishop said he represents the Pope.

Some alchemists were talking about some texts clearly mentions the ascension of a child during the great Plague of Justinian.

The alchemists were talking about moving someone to the basement and Hugo thought its his mommy so he decided to get to the basement now but he had to pass this hall room I saw Vitalis.

Archbishop reached the hall room to meet Vitalis and there Hugo was seeing everything hiding behind a table. When Archbishop was talking with Vitalis, an alchemist came with an injection probably filled with Hugo's blood.

The Archbishop was talking like they were not happy with how Vitalis was handling everything. Well, Vitalis stopped the Archbishop saying taking the injection is important.

There came Nicholas and told Vitalis about Hugo being with them. Then Vitalis asked Nicholas to go and check whether Beatrice de Rune has regained consciousness.

Hugo heard it all so he decided to follow Nicholas to get to his mother now.
